It takes a huge heart to support a disability that’s invisible to see, and that’s why I have unexplainable gratitude for my sisters at AOII. Thank you to my sweet sisters for giving me the courage to make this post. After years and years of asking the question “what is wrong with me?” I was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis in my spine. I had never felt so small and alone like I did that day, because how could I have arthritis at my age? When I met Abby on bid day I knew I wasn’t alone anymore. Abby also has juvenile arthritis, and like me, always knew something was different about her. I wouldn’t wish my pain on anyone, but I’m forever thankful it brought me you, Abby. We quickly realized that AOII was the support system we’d always prayed for. Suddenly “for the kids” became “for Sarah and Abby”. It turns out there was never something “wrong with me”. I just needed a group of girls who were willing to see the good and the bad. Thank you @bamaaoii for giving me unlimited love and support. I truly have the best sisters in the world 💙 by @sarah.townsend_9

“And David danced before the LORD with all his might..” 2 Samuel 6:14 The annual MOCO post, but this year a little different. This year, having the opportunity to serve the conference that changed my life forever has been one of my biggest honors. At my first MOCO I had a 19 year old leader and I was amazed at her relationship with God at her young age. She helped lead me to the God encounter that allowed me to fall in love with Jesus. This weekend, at 19, I got to do the same for other girls, who I know will also pass the flame one day. I have hope for my generation! It was a dream come true to serve alongside my best friend Lacey. ILY Lace! #GODSPEED by @sarah.townsend_9
