A (brief) September recap.

A busy start to the school year means very few photos despite lots of fun memories. by @sarah_ann_rose_

Case of the Mondays? Might I suggest a vase full of dahlias?

August.

Didn’t take a lot of pictures, but sure did make a lot of memories 💕 by @sarah_ann_rose_

I played this song for Dottie after reading our copy of the book from Dolly’s Imagination Library and I’ve never seen her latch on to a melody so fast. So, a year ago, when I found this quilt at Goodwill, I knew exactly what project it would be for. Yesterday I finally put the plan into action and I could not be more pleased with the result, crooked pockets and all 😉

Took these beauties to our eldest’s new teacher on Monday and sent him off for the first day of school today. Still not sure how we have a first grader 😭

Maybe this fabric will inspire my tomatoes to ripen 💁🏻‍♀️ 🍅

I’m still fiddling with/trying to figure out shirring, but overall really love how this dress turned out! Plus, I have enough fabric left over to make some toddler pants 😍

Sweet Simeon’s bear-y first birthday. A day filled with family, fun, and oh so much joy. We sure do love our little Bear.

This may be my favorite party theme: books, puns, nostalgia, and super easy decor. What’s not to love?

Joyful July by @sarah_ann_rose_

Picked some chocolate and orange mint this evening and decided to try making tea from the garden before bed. Added in some chamomile, because it’s my fav (and great for sleep). So simple and so delicious.
