portuguese words in brazilian feelings. @gomesceica_ by @sarahkgd

let me introduce you all to my daily shot of energy, happiness and comfort. sometimes we think that support only comes in hard times in life. of course can be. but when you find someone happy because of your happiness, there’s a genuine affection. someone big in soul, strengthness, eyes and power to change whatever they want. You never made me feel small at your side (he’s 6’3) even after our arguments, stress and more stress. The world can be cruel, no mercy nowadays, but I want you to say thank you to you. I’m so proud of you. A boy from Brasilia, conquering and sharing examples of what to be a human being means. You inspire me. You make me feel I can keep going and going. I love when you listen to my nerd times, philosophy and history times — my messy feelings and my tears without judgement. People like you teach me so much about tenderness. Just stop to repeat my accent from my part of brasil and we’re all set. Te amo @pabloogoes life is better with people like you, someone who loves to talk so much, but knows how to cherish the loud silence of the happiness of your friends. o afeto sempre salvará! by @sarahkgd
Tonight I cried. America it’s not a country, it’s a continent. the most watched sporting event in the United States tasted a little of our Latin happiness. thank you @badbunnypr — if you didn’t take the reference about the kid at end, that’s it. we still have hope, I can feel by @sarahkgd
we are not mad enough. selective empathy allows society to create enemies and hunt them to maintain control and power. jesus was one victim of this kinda of system, the one you all talk about it all the time. you all love to remember about holocaust, thousands killed because a guy one day decided jewish people, gypsies and people of color was a treat for Germany economy and safety. we are not only learning how people without memory can repeat the past, but also who supports it with their silence or because it’s not happening with them. If one day I wondered how the humanity let so much perversity happen in the history of the world without doing anything, today I know — Hannah Arendt called this “Banality of the evil” (shout out and thank you to my professor and researcher @ileidesampaio.profa) horrific acts can be perpetrated by seemingly normal. unthinking individuals who follow orders are potential perpetrators of death, and they can follow sadistic leaders in name of justice and moral. Just a reminder, was never about illegality, but about our accent, color and happiness. Enjoy your privilege until you can’t. I hope I’m not the next, I hope there’s no next #immigrants by @sarahkgd
