Libby users- here's how to opt out of AI in Libby. It even allows you to choose to disallow AI generated book covers, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO! Please share far and wide! by @sarahlarnach.art

I was just searching my photos for a pic of me in this Goonbag Halloween costume. Coming up short i wondered if a google search would help, only to discover this iconic fit on pinterest boards such as “What to wear for an australia themed quizz night” and “how to win at being a dork” (😉). A few years ago this popped up in a meme in the vein of How I Thought I Looked/ How I Actually Looked but the host pulled it down after peeps tagged me and I proudly claimed it. by @sarahlarnach.art

New art for @mcleodsbrewerynz I loved the brief and am very VERY happy with what I created here. So much so that I trimmed a label down to be a sticker on the back window of my car... its just so pretty!

My annual Spring &Seasonal Blues PSA: Here in Tamaki, and across Aotearoa, daylight is increasing by two minutes per day. That’s a hour more sunlight over the next month!!!
…….
Seasonal blues unfortunately PEAKS over the next two months even as the light increases.
It’s not completely understood (especially by me) but is thought to be the effects of daylight deficit, compounded over the winter period and not yet replenished by sunlight, and the effect that sunlight fuelled serotonin has on us: the serotonin increases our motivation but mood elevation quite slowly catches up weeks later.
So- please check on your friends and fam and be aware of this in yourself.
All of my love to you x

Rest easy in the wildflowers without the weight of those rhinestones, Dolly.

These are some of the fan art pieces I made of @dollyparton 15-ish years ago, when I printed and painted them to use as posters for my DJ nights.

I was lucky to see her perform just once, in 2014 and she blew my mind. by @sarahlarnach.art

14 years ago- a gorgeous hand made self promo poster: I made a different poster for each time I dJ'd as Fanny Burney. Would print half a dozen on watercolour paper and then hand paint &/or glitter each one. Canva and AI could NEVER give this much heart .

Second of the pair: My personal favourite nights are West Coast beach Nights. Warm, salty breezes, clear skies.

Created as part of my ongoing work for @mcleodsbrewerynz, and again a nod back to my Heroes series from my exhibition days.

A reminder of the long days and longer nights.. you’re busy livin.
Watercolour and pencil, with digital layering. The contrasty, smokey background of a live music show is something i've been attempting to depict for at least 25 years
