Ecosistema Some time ago, took a part in an architectural group project. As part of the project, I developed the storytelling through a series of drawings and storyboards that I would like to share here. The drawings explore the project as a living ecosystem shaped by its inhabitants, following everyday actions, encounters and shared activities, from domestic scale to the collective spaces of the courtyard and gardens. The storyboards became a way to translate the participatory dimension of Ecosistema, imagining how a community grows through meeting, exploring, sharing and co-designing its environment. by @saralbasak
September was like an extension of summer with lots of work, lots of cooking, and a little cat-sitting. Now I need an extension of September though 🦜 by @saralbasak
Finally sharing a collaboration I made at the beginning of this summer ☀️ These little drawings were made for @tetospace ’s merch, around the theme “Vivere l’estate” - living the summer. I put TETO’s furniture in conversation with the beach and the sea, and tried to make the whole thing as playful as possible. And then, when my bags finally arrived, I had to give them their own little mini photoshoot too 💁🏻‍♀️ AD @marioalessiani_design Thank you! 📸 and for pictures, special thanks to my partner in crime @foracesco by @saralbasak

Today on the @gelo.rivista 💥 My new illustration for the text “Il penultimo avvistamento di Maçarico-de-bico-fino” • • • #illustration #editorial #editorialiilustration #shortstory #basaksaral by @saralbasak
Header illustration for Insonnia Mondiale, @lultimouomo ’s World Cup newsletter 💥💥💥 I had so much fun! The brief revolved around the idea of insomnia, so I got to play with some of the usual aspects, counting sheep, restless nights and mix them with the atmosphere of football fever. Always a pleasure when a project leaves room for this kind of visual play by @saralbasak
From sketch to final result 💚 These illustrations were created for the Senza Parola section of Scomodo, where each month an artist is invited to express an idea without words. The work was inspired by a conversation on diasporas, plural identities, and migratory backgrounds. The ideas that stayed with me most were assimilation, the feeling of being “whole” (or not), and the way diaspora was described, not only as a condition, but almost as a metaphor. That interpretation created a visual parallel in my mind with the idea of spores: symbols of growth, dispersion, and the ways identities spread, evolve, and connect. The discussion featured @danielaionita_ @murphyc_ and @katiashirin and was curated by @psychalux Thank you @rebeccavenzi by @saralbasak
