I found the city of autumn, and its name starts with a B 🍂🤎 (just part I, because I still have some things to share) by @saraslowchapters

what I ate and drank during my trips to Boston, Salem and New York (along with my reviews) 🥞🍝🍕🥯☕️

pecan pie latte and cream cheese bagel at JAHO (Salem) •

the latte and the bagel were delicious. Nothing special to add.

avocado toast and pumpkin pie latte at Café 26 (Boston) •

Everything was delicious, and special mention goes to the staff, who were just lovely. The prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend it !

peanut butter latte at J.P Licks (Boston) •

As you can probably tell, I tried several seasonal drinks. The latte was good, but it started to feel a bit heavy toward the end.

gnocchi alla sorrentina at Mast’ (Boston) •

For us, Italian food is always a safe bet. The dishes were pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. Tips are practically mandatory at this restaurant—I think that’s the main downside, and it’s not a minor one.

pancakes, enchiladas, and greek salad at Chelsea Square Diner (New York) •

My passion for things from the past led me to this spot. The portions were really generous (it was almost impossible to finish them). The service was absolutely fine, and the atmosphere was truly extraordinary. It’s just like in a movie !

new york-style pizza at Little Italy Pizza (New York) •

I went back to the place I’d shared back in January. The prices are very reasonable for a fairly large slice and a drink. The pizza was delicious and crispy.

pistacchiosa at Sophia’s (Little Italy, New York) •

We decided to visit Little Italy in New York. Honestly, it was a real struggle because restaurant owners kept trying to get us to eat at their places the whole way. We ended up choosing Sophia’s; the food was good—I had the pistachio pasta—but what I absolutely didn’t like about this restaurant was that the receipt automatically included an 18% tip. In my opinion, that’s a pretty dishonest practice, and for that reason, I don’t really recommend this restaurant.

cinnamon bun latte at Blank Street (Boston) •

It was one of my favorites. You could really taste the cinnamon, and even though it was served cold, that didn’t stop me from enjoying the flavor. I think it must be just as delicious served hot.
