Today I asked God one simple question: “Who are You inviting me to become this year?” The answer wasn’t about doing more. It was about becoming more faithful, more courageous, and more rooted in His presence. Here’s to year 37: trusting more, loving deeper, and following wherever He leads. 🤎🥳 by @sashadmarcus

Happy 38th birthday to the love of my life. There’s something about a man who has a silent authority. A man who chooses obedience to God always. A man who doesn’t waver on his convictions. A man who cares deeply. Who prays consistently. You are that man babe. So so proud of the man that you are and who you’re becoming.

May this next year be one of breakthrough, purpose, favor, boldness, strength, stepping out on faith, and walking in the fullness of who God called you to be.

Love you to the moon and back. Happy Birthday babe. 🥳🥳🥳

My M A N 😭 I just want to honor my man my man my man! When we met, we would be on the phone for hours. HOURS! 😆 If you know Lamont, you know, he is a true introvert. But he made time for me. He would drive an hour away from his house to drop me home after church on Sundays even though I had a car. 🤣 The things we do for love. 😆 He trusted me with his dreams. You know those things you’re scared to tell anyone because people may look at you like you’re crazy. Yeah, He trusted me with that. Fast forward almost 7 years, he has been consistent. He makes sacrifices daily for me. Goes out of his way for me. He still trust me with his new dreams, as he evolves. I just want everyone to know that he is probably the best gift God has given me, outside of salvation. Thank you babe for taking care of us. For being a voice of reason. For leading me back to Jesus when I start to stray. For praying for our family daily. For being the leading voice in my life. I honor you today and EVERYDAY! 🫶🏾🥹 #justbecause by @sashadmarcus

11 years ago someone sent me a link to a Vimeo video because they thought I should hear it… I was a “little” angry back then and they I thought she may need to hear a message about being mad at God… 😅 I wrestled back tears listening to that message. I hadn’t truly cried for close to a decade at that point. I was numb. I went to church the following Sunday and gave my life to Christ. And the transformation from that broken then 26 year old girl to now more than a decade later is a testament of God, this church and my pastors! So grateful for not giving up. Grateful that you decided to move to Columbia from Woodlawn despite the uncertainty. Grateful that you didn’t give the church up. So grateful that even when it’s hard you’ve kept going. So grateful that your lives have given us vision for ours. Thank you Pastor @stephenrchandler and Pastor @zaichandler ! The Marcus family love you and this church!! 15 and onward!! 🚀

Happy Mother’s Day! 💗

It’s the joy of my life to be a part of their story… I pray that they never experience what I’ve gone through. But if they do, I pray that they would always lean on God because that’s what they saw their mama do. I pray that I model being a child of God so they may walk in that. I pray I model walking in purpose so they may walk boldly into all God has for them. It’s the joy of my life… 🥹 by @sashadmarcus

20 pounds off in less than 6 months.
It was an imperfect process. I wasn’t always consistent. And I didn’t always push myself like I should. But I started.

So this is for the person who is allowing shame to stop them from making progress. Get up and do something. Once you start it builds momentum. Try different things. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Allow yourself to fail. Allow yourself the grace to try again. You got this. This year we DOMINATE 💪🏾

Making memories is about having fun with your kids. Seeing that smile that melts your heart and that belly laugh that you’ll never forget. Showing up intentionally can be inconvenient but so worth it. We didn’t spend a lot of money. Just made our kids smile.

Let me know in the comments what you did the make Christmas special. ☺️
