A love story deserves a setting that feels just as unforgettable.

The Palace of Fine Arts never disappoints, but it’s the people standing beneath it that make the photograph.

I’m always searching for light, architecture, and honest connection to create images that feel both cinematic and deeply personal.

Ready to plan your own San Francisco session? Send me a message and let’s start dreaming. ✨

Liane & Justin 🤍

Just a few days ago they said “I do” in front of their family and friends at the beautiful Grand Island Mansion. Love & laughter all day long surrounded this sweet couple as they said their vows. The wind was strong, the sun was warm, and smiles were abundant. Truly a stunning day 👌

It’s October 1st and I thought it perfect to start fall and this VERY busy season off with my new website design (made by me 🥰), new branding, and a hello to introduce myself to new and potential clients as well as re-introduce myself to long time followers. Hi!!! 👋

I’m Savannah a caffeine addicted, book enthusiast, outdoor adventurer, obsessed with my kitty, California Wedding Photographer based in Sacramento. I can’t say this enough, I love photography! But not just photographing people but the world around me. My iPhone storage is always full and I’m always taking pictures with my cameras on my travels. 📸

I love a mixture of digital and film photography. There’s something about seeing both the clean crisp digital images mixed with the classic grainy vintage looking film photos. I get the same excitement in big cities when I see new modern buildings next to old brick architecture. A mixture of old and new 🎞️

My style is a mixture of romantic/editorial/documentary. I gently guide but overall I want you to feel yourselves and see yourselves in your images! Instead of forcing moments I provide suggestions for movements and thought but let you be free to be as you two are 💕

If you’re getting married, eloping, or engaged in 2026 and still on the hunt for your photographer I would love to hear from you!! Let’s make art with your love story 🕊️ by @savannahserranophoto

A little love story unfolding among the gardens. 🤍

This romantic Dallas Arboretum engagement session was filled with laughter, quiet moments, and the dreamiest garden backdrops.

There are weddings I photograph as a photographer, and then there are weddings I photograph as someone who loves the people in front of my camera.

This one was my brother’s. 🤍

Getting to watch him marry the person he loves was already something I’ll never forget. Getting to preserve pieces of that day alongside a friend — the big moments, the quiet ones, and all the beautifully imperfect moments in between — made it even more special.

Some of these were captured digitally, some on film, and I think that mix somehow makes them feel even more like memories to me. A little polished, a little grainy, a little blurry, sometimes imperfect… but completely real.

And maybe that’s what I love most about photographing weddings. Years from now, I don’t want you to only remember what everything looked like. I want you to remember what it felt like to be there.

Congratulations, you two. I love you both. 🤍

And getting to photograph this chapter of our family’s story is something I’ll always be grateful for.

There is something so quietly beautiful about the waiting—the anticipation, the tenderness, and the little moments shared before life changes in the most extraordinary way.

Photographed on a mix of film and digital at the Pulgas Water Temple, this maternity session felt equal parts romantic, timeless, and cinematic. Proof that maternity photographs don’t have to feel overly posed—they can feel like you, your love, and this fleeting chapter exactly as it was.

If you’re expecting and dreaming of maternity photos surrounded by beautiful architecture, soft light, and a little old-world romance, I would love to create something meaningful with you here.

Now booking maternity sessions at the Pulgas Water Temple and throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Inquire through the link in my bio. 🤍

A little romance in the hills of San Jose. 🤍

There was something so effortless about this day at The Ranch at Silver Creek — soft spring light, a veil that deserved its own moment, views stretching across the valley, and two people who made photographing them feel incredibly easy.

Elegant where it needed to be, a little playful everywhere else, and full of those quiet in-between moments I’ll choose every single time.

The kind of wedding day that reminds me why I love telling these stories.

A wedding day isn’t just one moment.

It’s the dress hanging quietly before everything begins. The rings tucked beneath a veil. Tables waiting for the people you love most. The view you chose to say forever in front of.

And then suddenly, it’s happening.

You’re married. You’re laughing. You’re holding hands walking back down the aisle, and all of those little details you spent months choosing have become part of a memory.

That’s what I want your photographs to hold onto — not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt to be there.

There’s something so tender about the season before everything changes.

The waiting. The wondering. The quiet moments between two people who know life is about to look completely different.
