Most countries are ignoring one of the most powerful climate solutions - the ground beneath us.

“The root of all Life is in the Soil. Without saving the Soil, there is no way to address issues like climate change, global warming, and ocean pollution.” Sadhguru

“The simplest and most effective solution is to increase the tree cover, and in turn enrich the soil and replenish water bodies.”
Sadhguru

“If we fix the soil, the water is fixed, air is fixed and everything is fixed.”
Sadhguru

Global Impact Estimate

A 40% drop would likely cause:
-Global famine in multiple regions
-Severe economic recession
-Major geopolitical instability
-Possible collapse of fragile states

The Only Way to Prevent That

-Regenerate soil health
-Diversify crops
-Improve water management
-Reduce food waste (currently ~30% globally)
-Local food resilience

🌱 Soil Before Intensive Agriculture (Pre-1950s)
1. Organic Matter
Soil organic matter typically 5–10% (sometimes higher in grasslands and forests)
Rich in carbon, humus, fungi, and microbes
High natural fertility

🚜 Soil After Decades of Intensive Agriculture (1950s–Today)
1. Organic Matter
Organic matter dropped to 0.5–2% globally
In parts of Africa: <1%
Carbon loss of 30–70% from many agricultural soils
