This summer, I stepped into a world I never imagined—a journey I didn’t plan, but something deep inside pulled me there. Alone, I ventured to the Amazon jungle for 14 days, a calling I couldn’t ignore. There, I immersed myself in two of the most powerful psychedelics: Ayahuasca and Huachuma. Guided by forces beyond my understanding, I embarked on an adventure that was magical, profound beyond imagination.

Amongst the untouched beauty of nature, surrounded by kindred beings as pure as the air we breathed, I was privileged to interact with the tribal communities who live a simple yet joyful life. Each day brought clean food that nourished us and aromatic flower baths infused with wild leaves, their fragrance sliding over my skin—every sensation was alive, raw, vivid, and full of spirit.

I am endlessly grateful to the energies around me, the spirits guiding me, for an experience that will stay etched within me forever.

What better day to share this than the day I was gifted this precious life ?

Dancing alongside a trained classical dancer is one thing… but when that dancer is your Amma, it hits differently. ❤️

Forever grateful for these little opportunities to create memories, and capture moments I’ll cherish for a lifetime 💃

Love to daddy for being the first one to encourage ❤️

Two days. One night. 13+ km through the wild heart of Silent Valley. 🌿

A Daddy-daughter trek through the dense forests of Kerala, crossing rivers, walking through meadows, and trying our best to escape the leeches that seemed to have claimed the forest as their own! 🪱

Now you all know where my love for nature, forests, treks and being wild comes from. ❤️

It was a first for my dad, but he didn’t just make it — he aced it! And I couldn’t be prouder of him.

Forever grateful for this beautiful experience with my dada. 🌿❤️ by @savitharathan
