Monday at 16:22 hrs SBFD was dispatched for patio furniture on fire on John Ochs Drive. 542 confirmed the fire with extension into the home & attic. 541 assumed command and transmitted the Working Fire and eventually 2nd Alarm assignments.

E1 arrived first due and stretched a crosslay to knock the exterior fire. An interior push was made . Heavy fire in the attic started to collapse the roof, and all companies evacuated. L3 operated the aerial device, while E2 operated another hand-line. Mutual aid assisted with extinguishment & overhaul.

SBPD removed 2 dogs from the home prior to FD arrival. No injuries were reported
