This week, I was finally able to install the new drive sprocket from @panzerwerkdesign on the Sd.Kfz. 250 and test it with the tracks. The manufacturer—working in collaboration with @panzerfarm —has done an outstanding job, backed by excellent research. The drive sprocket is wonderfully detailed, the track is perfectly 3D-printed, and assembly is a breeze; overall, the whole setup looks just right. #ww2 #sdkfz250 #military #modelismo #modellbau by @scaleart_35
After a slow start in the Instagram era, the number of posts—and the associated follower count—has surged in recent months. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who follows my page daily and shares this hobby with me; following successful posts about the new book by Bernhard Lustig @lustig_brothers , @ammomig, and @plastic_invasion , I gained a significant number of new followers in a very short time. Thank you so much #1500k #scale #thankful #thankyou❤️ #dankeschön❤ by @scaleart_35
Today I’d like to share the contents and structure of the book by Bernhard Lustig with you. Chapters: 1. Intro - The Art of Diorama Building 2. The Enemy lurks behind every Rock – Norway 1940 3. Sd.Kfz.252 in difficult terrain 4. Tondorf - heavy XX Panzerabteilung 501, December 1944 5. Forward Reconnaissance - Gran Bridgehead January 1945 6. Waiting for Recovery - Hungary March 1945 7. Bohemia Fields - Czechoslovakia Summer 1945 8. Oldies but Goldies I start the book with some thoughts about diorama construction and draw attention to important „Dos & Donts“. Each chapter begins with a historical story relating to the scene depicted, combined with interesting period photos. These articles are written by historian like Mirko Bayerl. Marek Solar, Oyvind Leonssen or Jürgen Rank. He described the specific painting and weathering techniques for each vehicle shown in the diorama. He also discusses the construction of the groundwork and buildings and explains the techniques involved. Large-format images and close-ups ensure that even the smallest details are clearly visible. In the final chapter, we present images of his best-known works. Stay tuned for more information and images. See you at SMC! @ammomig @plastic_invasion @lustig_brothers by @scaleart_35

@plastic_invasion has release a new book for aviation enthusiasts. Thanks @don_marmeladon for this beautiful book. 85th anniversary of Battle of Britain 🇬🇧, time for a 189 pages historical book with parts of camouflage and markings, fighter equipment and a step by step article of @eduardmodels Spitfire MK I. A magnificent tribute to the legendary pilots and peoples RAF of the 1940 era.
