JŌVAN HEAT MAN FIRED UP by Jōvan

This is a 2004 release by Jōvan. A sport scent which has moments that remind me of mens classics from the 90’s fused with an early 2000’s fresh scents. It’s the ultimate Gym fragrance for men. Heat Man Fired Up is a large 8.4oz spray bottle that looks like it should hold cleaning fluid. This type of scent was inexpensive, meant to be worn liberally and in any casual or sport setting. Fragrances like this from Jōvan and many other inexpensive drugstore / large discount store fragrances are phasing out of the norm it seems these days, you have to go exclusively online now for something like this.

1881 Men by Nino Cerruti

This 1990 release from the house of Nino Cerruti is classified as an Aromatic Fougere. It’s hands down one of my favorite Italian made fougere fragrances ever. The scent is perfect any time and proves you do not need to spend a ton to have a great fragrance.

Photographed above is a mix of current and vintage formulations along with the body line products.

The official comparison video has been posted to my YT channel.

Armani Eau Pour Homme by Giorgio Armani

This 1984 Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men has to be the best in this style in my opinion.
Spiced citrus among other notes that drys down to an expensive smelling bar of soap.
It’s class in a bottle.

Photographed above are both vintage versions (cosmair & luxury products llc) along with some body line products.

My official review / then & now video has been posted to my YT channel (a few weeks back)

L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake.

This is a 1994 woody aquatic fragrance for men. L’Eau D’issey combines citrus, white florals along with musk and woods to make a clean fresh smelling scent. This reminds of a gateway to Acqua Di Gio in terms of being a modern classic. L’Eau D’issey however to me is more on the classic side.
