🔬 A good paper is built on more than good science.

Strong research deserves writing that communicates its value. Precision, structure, and clarity help ensure that your findings are understood as intended.

Science editing is where the message meets the science.

📩 DM me for support at every stage of manuscript preparation and submission, from refining your scientific narrative to preparing your paper for journal submission.

Good research starts with good questions.

Sometimes, the hardest part isn't doing the research — it's knowing how to shape an idea, organize your thoughts, or decide what to do next.

Research support can help you step back, clarify your thinking and move your project forward with greater confidence.

🌿 Your research. Your ideas. Your next step.

Good science can be weakened by unclear writing.

Scientific editing is not about changing your research or rewriting your conclusions. It is about making sure that the work you have done is communicated accurately, clearly and professionally.

Depending on what your manuscript needs, I offer different levels of support:

✍️ English Editing
For manuscripts that are scientifically complete but need improvement in English. I work on grammar, vocabulary, syntax, wording and fluency while preserving your meaning and scientific voice.

🔎 Copy-editing
A more detailed editorial review. In addition to language, I look at clarity, consistency, terminology, sentence construction, paragraph flow and readability. The aim is to make the manuscript more precise and coherent without changing the underlying scientific content.

📖 Beta Reading
For a complete manuscript that needs a critical reader before submission. I look at the manuscript as a whole and provide feedback on structure, argumentation, coherence, unclear sections, repetition and overall readability.

The right service depends on where your manuscript is in the writing process.

Already have a finished article but want another experienced reader before submission?
Beta reading may be what you need.

Need your scientific English polished?
English editing.

Need a deeper editorial review of the manuscript?
Copy-editing.

Your research stays yours. I help make the writing clearer.

📩 DM me for details and to discuss which service fits your manuscript.

Your Research Deserves More Than Good Results

Strong research is only part of the process. Its impact also depends on how clearly the ideas, methods, evidence, and conclusions are communicated.

Good scientific writing does not simplify the science. It gives complex research the structure and precision it needs to be understood.

Academic life can feel like a lot sometimes.

You may be struggling with your thesis, questioning your next step, or simply feeling stuck.

Talking things through with someone who understands the academic journey can help you put things into perspective, find some clarity and decide what comes next.

And taking care of yourself along the way matters too.

One step at a time. 🌿

Reviewers read a lot of proposals.

That means your project needs a clear structure from the beginning.
One useful test is this:

Could someone understand your research problem, your main objectives and why the project matters after reading only the opening section?

If not, the proposal may need a stronger narrative structure.
Grant writing is not about simplifying your science.
It's about guiding the reader through it.

Clear questions.
Clear objectives.
Clear impact.

Your research deserves more than good science — it deserves to be communicated clearly.

Are you a researcher, PhD student, postdoc, or scientific professional working on an article, thesis, grant proposal, or research project?

I can help you move from “I know what I want to say” to “This communicates exactly what I mean.”

A great research idea can still get lost in a proposal.

Successful grant writing isn't simply about describing what you want to investigate.

You need to make the reviewer quickly understand:
🔬 What is the problem?
💡 What is new about your approach?
🎯 What exactly will you achieve?
📈 Why will it matter?

A strong proposal connects these elements into one convincing story.

The science comes first. But the way you communicate it can make a real difference.

Good science deserves clear communication.

Scientific writing isn't about using complicated words or changing your voice.

It's about making your research easier to follow — from the research question and methods to your results and conclusions.

Whether you're writing your first paper, completing a PhD thesis or preparing a manuscript for publication, clarity matters.

Your science. Your voice. Clearer communication.
