At 4y/o, Jade said she wanted to be a racecar driver. Here's our adventure into the world of racing.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Jade got to hit the track for the first time since last season. Shes was out there getting comfortable in her car again and shes excited to get back to racing. The car is going to @team_haskell_racing for some adjustments and a new built engine, then to get wrapped. We will do a reveal for the car and shout outs to our sponsors that make it all possible soon. Cant wait to show off the new powdercoat from @powder_addiction_lv, its absolutelymind blowing. We love and appreciate you all! by @sco.racing

Ayla was so excited to drive yesterday, and absolutely blew us away. This girl said she was going to go fast all day leading up to her being able to get in a car, and she didn't exactly that. Throttle pinned for 2 laps without ever driving one of these before. No sense of where to be on the track yet so she was a bit out of control. When we stopped her she had the biggest grin on her face. I asked her to slow down and figure out how to control the car before going so fast. She said "I just want to go faster" and "I didn't even crash". Lol this kids gonna be a force to be reckoned with out there. by @sco.racing

Teardown complete. It's time to get this frame to @powder_addiction_lv so Joey can work his magic. On the list of things to get done to prep for next season is; engine rebuild/tune, shocks rebuild/tune, replace broken/bent parts, new wheels and tires, replace a few body panels, give it a new wrap and graphics. Then we will get the seat, pedals, head rest, belts, and weight distribution set up for Jade in August/September because that girl is growing faster than I could imagine. She'll be running Blue Plate next season (October), and her little sister will get to start practicing in red plate at the same time, and then she gets to start racing in March! by @sco.racing

The last race of the season was a good one. We are super grateful for our club and looking forward to next season. We have a few off-season projects to come that we look forward to sharing with everyone! 🏁💪🏼 by @sco.racing

Jade was driving really well on Saturday. Her race line is looking great, and she's letting off the gas a lot less. Super proud of her! by @sco.racing

Post race chats like this are why we keep racing. Whish we could be on the track more to get her the practice she wants to improve, but we're glad she enjoys herself. by @sco.racing

Jade got smoked twice last week and ended up with a bent axle in under 5 laps of heat one. We pulled her out of the heat and got to work on the car. Thanks to @team_haskell_racing for the help and the butane torch, that was surprisingly just hot enough to bend the axle straight enough for the second heat and the main. Made it back to the line up just in time to start heat two. Now we pull the axle and put put in a new one. Tough weekend, but we made it through, and Jade was proud of herself for not giving up. 💪🏼. @mikerowe nailed it with the idea of #safetythird. We aren't at the track to be safe, we're there to have fun, and drive fast. Being safe is something we want to do, so we can keep enjoying racing. by @sco.racing

Jade got spun out here, but look at the sportsmanship between these two racer girls. An immediate I'm sorry from number 47, and they held hands til us push truck dad's came to untangle them. Awesome to see the competitiveness in these kids, but even cooler to see the respect they have for each other. by @sco.racing

Jade likes to sit in her car and talk about racing, or pretend shes driving. What do you think she's trying to explain here? by @sco.racing
