Thank you to everyone who made it out for our inaugural hoop hysteria event, brought to you by the San Diego College of Continuing Education Foundation. It was such a powerful display of community support!

The trophy is going home with the white team, but both teams played well in a close 62-63 matchup 🏆

Community investment compounds. One student’s scholarship becomes a business that hires locally, a career that supports a family, a story that shows the next person it’s possible.

That’s the ripple effect of giving to SDCCE Foundation — it never stops at just one person.

Save this as a reminder of what your support actually builds. Share it with someone who believes in investing in people. 💜

A huge thank-you to Gary Cristofani for their generous gift of 80 Apple stocks for the Foundation.

Their donation is going toward laptops for small business owners and students to use while in the BRC, and for purchasing several soundproof mini-offices for businesses to use while in the BRC so that they can have private meetings.

Gifts like this are what allow @sdcceedu & our foundation to keep growing its resources for the community & students we serve. Thank you, Mr. Cristofani, for investing in our students. 💜

You are responsible for who you become — no one else has jurisdiction over who you want to be or your goals. Continue to hold on to the things you’ve learned along the way, as your education is something NO ONE can take away from you.

No student should have to choose between buying a textbook and buying a meal. 🥬✨

Through the SDCCE CARES program, our campus food pantries are doing so much more than stocking shelves—they are fueling futures! 🍎 Fueling your body means fueling your mind, and we are incredibly proud to provide fresh, nutritious groceries and essential items to over 1,500 of our amazing adult learners every single month.

Education is a journey, and we are here to make sure hunger isn’t a roadblock. To everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports our Basic Needs initiative—thank you for helping us nourish our community! 🤝💜

Starting something your family hasn’t done before takes a specific kind of courage — especially when it feels like you’re figuring it out solo.

Here’s the truth: you have people in your corner. Advisors, counselors, classmates, mentors — this community exists to walk alongside first-gen students, not watch from the sidelines.

If you’re the first in your family to pursue this, know that support is closer than it feels. Tag someone who’s paving their own way. 💛

Every gift to SDCCE Foundation goes straight into someone’s future — a scholarship completed, a certification earned, a career changed.

$500 funds a full scholarship. Stocks, bonds, and other assets count too. And you don’t need any connection to SDCCE to be part of that impact — just a belief that it’s worth investing in.

Save this for later, and send it to someone who’s been thinking about giving. Every gift moves someone forward. 💜
