PSALMS 103

I grew up hearing my aunt wail the first verse of this Psalm! To the point that everytime I hear it or read it I hear it in HER voice. It’s like she was there when David wrote it!

‭‭ “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name”

As I grow older I appreciate so much more and hold tightly to these memories that were imprinted on me at such a young age….Now in my more seasoned age in addition to the first verse I cling to the next four!

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
‭‭
Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭

God is so good.
He loves you so much.
Don’t forget his benefits.
Cling to his promises like your life depends on it BECAUSE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!

Maybe you’re not falling apart. Maybe you’re falling into place.
Reminding myself today that it is in Christ Jesus that all things are held together.
Even Me.
Even You.

”And He Himself existed and is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. [His is the controlling, cohesive force of the universe.]“
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭

Missing 5 games at the start of your 8th grade football Szn wasn’t ideal, but seeing how you returned from injury and in the final games of the season gave 110% , and lifted your team makes me so proud of you.

**What if the growth you’re searching for is found in a life shared with others?**

Self-discovery can only take us so far when we’re doing it alone. We were created to grow together—sharing meals, carrying burdens, and making room for one another at the table.

That’s **Living LOCAL.**

How has community helped you grow? Let’s talk. 👇

OCTOBER 26’ ✌🏾

There’s what was caught by the camera and then there’s all that the camera never saw. Either way “Lord thank you”.
Psalms 126:5-6 by @seasonedbygrace

** Could the life we’re searching for be found around a table, sharing life with others?**

The early church shared meals, carried burdens, and met needs together. Their faith was lived out in community.

What happens when personal fulfillment becomes more important than sacrificial love?

Where do you see this tension in your own life or in the church? Let’s talk. 👇

BOUNDARIES or BARRIERS - Romans 15:1-5

Are our BOUNDARIES protecting our CAPACITY to LOVE, or are they protecting US from ever having to BEAR with them?

Let’s Talk 👇

#selfpreservation #localchurchpodcast #boundaries #idols by @seasonedbygrace

Have our BOUNDARIES become BARRIERS?

Boundaries matter….
But have we made an idol of our comfort?

Romans 15:1–5 calls the strong to bear with the weak, follow Christ’s costly example, and trust God for endurance.

Are we protecting our capacity to love—or protecting ourselves from having to?

Let’s talk. 👇

What if the traditions we’re protecting are producing the consumers we’re criticizing?

If we want to form lives, we have to be willing to unlearn—even when “we’ve always done it this way.”

What should we RELEASE so we can better BE the Church?

Share this. Let’s wrestle with it together. 👇
