Been a busy month but plenty of progress. Swipe to see ➡️
- Stud walls built in metal, insulated with wool.
- Electrics first fixed.
- Plumbing first fixed.
- Insulated, 80mm foil board throughout.
- Plasterboard throughout.
- Bathroom prep’d for tiles.
- Taped, jointed and sanded.
Ready for paint next.

Next project is fitting out the 1000sq/ft space above the garage, into a self contained living space, with open plan living / kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom.
Attached to the house so can be accessed via internal staircase or an external terrace (to follow). Here’s a rough plan that I drafted up.

First piece of furniture was this 1960s G Plan Credenza. Not something I had originally been looking for, but after seeing the stunning advert photographs (scroll and you will see some in this post), I just had to have it. My love and appreciation for all things teak started here. Many thanks to @bettyslounge @bettyslounge_stock who supplied and delivered 🤎

Throwback to start of interior. Didn’t have any furniture at this stage, but pool table got the priority first delivery 😂
