Twenty years ago, I was told to accept things the way they were. I didn’t. And I never will.

For the last 15 years as your State Senator, I have delivered for the residents of the 46th District and protected against threats to our freedoms.

On June 23rd, I am asking for your vote so that we can keep fighting for the 46th. by @senbillferg

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. The volunteers, the supporters, the neighbors who showed up and made their voices heard. This victory belongs to all of us. But let me be clear: we are not done. The fight for lower energy bills, for protected immigrant families, for world class schools, for a Baltimore and a Maryland where every person has a fair shot, that fight does not stop. We are just getting started. Thank you. Let's get back to work. by @senbillferg

Our new ad is about what this campaign has always been about: fighting for families, investing in our neighborhoods, building world class schools, and standing up for the small businesses that are the backbone of our community. Watch and share. by @senbillferg

What a night for Democrats across the country. And what a privilege to have earned the trust of our neighbors in the 46th Legislative District for another four years.

Looking back at these photos, I’m reminded just how many people made this campaign possible.

Elections are won one conversation at a time. Thousands of doors knocked. Neighbors talking to neighbors. Volunteers making calls, sending texts, staffing the polls, hosting house parties, and giving up their evenings and weekends because they believed in what we could accomplish together.

To every volunteer, supporter, labor partner, community leader, elected colleague, and friend who stood with us: thank you. And to everyone who cast a ballot, thank you for participating in our democracy.

I’m proud to serve alongside dedicated elected leaders in the Senate who know what it means to serve the people they represent. And I’m excited to continue working together to build a stronger future for Maryland.

Serving Baltimore is an extraordinary honor. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to keep doing it. by @senbillferg

Back home in Baltimore to finish Election Day at Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School with Comptroller Brooke Lierman, Delegates Luke Clippinger and Mark Edelson!

After a full day visiting polling places across Maryland, it’s great to see the long lines and excitement here in District 46. I’m hopeful for a blue wave tonight and looking forward to the work we can accomplish together for Marylanders.

Just under two hours left! Polls close at 8PM, and if you’re in line by then, you’ll be able to vote. 🗳️ by @senbillferg

A full Election Day across Maryland!

After voting with Lea in Baltimore this morning, I headed out to spend time at the polls with Lara Westdorp in Frederick County, Senator Katie Fry Hester and Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth in Howard County, and Senators Dawn Gile and Shaneka Henson in Anne Arundel County.

It’s been great seeing so many Marylanders out participating in our democracy today. I’m optimistic about returning to Annapolis with a strong team of Democratic colleagues, ready to tackle the work ahead: lowering costs, strengthening our schools, and making life better for Maryland families.

Still plenty of time to make your voice heard! Polls are open until 8PM. by @senbillferg

We’ve made it to our 6th stop: Folly Quarter Middle School in Ellicott City! Thanks to @senbillferg, @KatieFryHesterMD9, @nataliefor9a, and @Delegate_Wu for joining me, thanking voters for showing up, and reminding everyone that there’s still time to make their voices heard! Polls are open until 8 PM, so if you haven’t cast your ballot yet, make sure you get out and vote. by @senbillferg

I’ve always loved voting on Election Day. There’s something special about going to the polls with Lea, seeing our neighbors, and taking part in a tradition we all share.

From our schools to our neighborhoods, the decisions we make at the ballot box help shape the future of our communities and our state. Every Marylander deserves a voice in that future.

Whether you voted early, mailed in your ballot, or are heading to the polls today, thank you for participating in our democracy.

This is tremendous news for Baltimore. Calvin Ball is an exceptional choice to lead Baltimore City Community College, and I am excited about what his leadership could mean for our city.

I also want to thank Dr. Debra McCurdy for her seven years of service leading BCCC. As she prepares to retire at the end of the year, I wish her all the best in her next chapter.

I have long believed that BCCC has enormous untapped potential. Baltimore is home to world-class hospitals, research institutions, the Port, and growing industries that need skilled workers. Yet far too many residents lack accessible pathways to the careers and opportunities those institutions create.

Our community college should be right at the center of closing that gap, connecting Baltimoreans to affordable education, workforce training, and good-paying careers.

BCCC has faced serious challenges. Addressing them will require strong leadership, rebuilding trust, and a sustained commitment to doing things differently.

Calvin brings eight years of executive leadership in Howard County, deep relationships across Maryland, a doctorate focused on community college leadership, and firsthand experience working at BCCC to improve student success.

It’s an extraordinary combination of experience for this moment, and I’m especially encouraged that someone with his talents is choosing to return to higher education and take on this responsibility.

Baltimore deserves a thriving community college that opens doors for more residents and plays a central role in our city’s economic future.

I believe Calvin can help us get there, and I look forward to working with him.

There’s a lot at stake this November 3. The decisions we make in this election will help shape what America looks like for years to come.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

See you at the polls! by @senbillferg

On November 1, 1864, Maryland’s new constitution took effect, abolishing slavery in our state. Today, on Maryland Emancipation Day, we remember the Black Marylanders who were enslaved here and honor their struggle for freedom. We carry that history into our work to protect the rights and dignity of every Marylander. by @senbillferg

What a turnout of volunteers, union members, and fellow elected leaders in District 30 this morning to kick off a big GOTV weekend for my Senate colleague, Shaneka Henson!

As I told the crowd, District 30 is Maryland’s battleground. Every door we knock this weekend matters, and we’re going to win it.

Let’s make every conversation count and bring this one home for Shaneka! by @senbillferg
