🦋COME CLOSER COL x SEN-SEI🦋

https://slinky.to/come_closer

💙COME CLOSER (COL LAWTON & SEN-SEI REMIX)

Sen-Sei (US) and DJ Col Lawton (UK) stand as house music’s premier cross-continental “dynamic duo” — a creative powerhouse forged on the foundation of genuine musicianship, intelligent composition, and a relentless rejection of cookie-cutter dance music formulas. Sen-Sei brings a legendary pedigree as a globally recognized veteran keyboardist and analog synth specialist, whose journey began with his very first vinyl appearance on the iconic “20 Minutes Of Disco Glory” (Wicked Records #1) — a debut that foreshadowed a career shaped by decades of landmark vinyl and digital releases. Col Lawton — a former professional footballer turned deep house innovator — commands the forefront of the new school of respected producers.

Together, their partnership, ignited in 2018, masterfully bridges the soulful, live-instrumentation roots of West Coast House with the rhythmic, groove-heavy sensibilities of the UK underground. What emerges from their studio sessions is nothing short of transportive — lush, breathing arrangements where warm analog synth textures drift beneath hypnotic grooves, evoking late-night dancefloors bathed in low light and the kind of deep, spiritual energy that classic house was always meant to carry. Their productions strike a rare emotional balance: simultaneously introspective and euphoric, rooted in tradition yet unmistakably forward-moving, with every element — from silky chord progressions and live bass undertones to precision-crafted percussion. The result is a prolific catalog of over 50 releases across more than 10 of the industry’s most prestigious imprints — including LARGE, Salted Music, Uniting Souls Music, Nervous, VIVA, Quantize Recordings, Robotical Grooves, Play This! Records, Piston Recordings, and Tropical Disco Records — defined by live analog synth textures, complex arrangements, and crisp, club-ready percussion that resonates equally with house purists and new-school audiences alike.
