Yesterday we fought the Fort Lauderdale open @ibjjf here in Florida and everything went as I dreamed: two medals 🥇🥇and taking my team to the highest place on the podium🏆. I just have to thank God, my family, and my true friends who are by my side every day in the daily struggle to do and bring the best to the Gracie Barra students. This is the second consecutive year of this title 2024/2025 🏆WE ARE GRACIE BARRA 🔺.

Two weeks filled with immense learning and history—experiences I will one day recount to my son, telling him just how arduous the journey to get here was. Reuniting with true friends and reliving shared memories is priceless. As an added bonus, I spent four days with my brothers on the mats. In the end, everything is worth it when the soul is great. Receiving my 4th degree from Master Carlinhos was a truly special moment for me, marking 16 years as a black belt. Still a beginner myself, I had the honor of witnessing Master Carlos Gracie Jr. receive his red belt in person—it was magical—and of hearing his life story directly from him, learning what it truly means to live out history. I can only thank God for the opportunity to experience all of this. We move forward, steadfast in our purpose. We are Gracie Barra🔺🙏🏻 by @sergiocostagb

Tiny champions, big friendships 🤩

Some of the best friendships start on the mats. Growing, learning, laughing, and making memories together. That’s what being part of the Gracie Barra family is all about! 🔺 by @sergiocostagb

The lessons children learn at a young age can make a difference for years to come. We believe Jiu-Jitsu is about much more than what happens on the mats.

It’s amazing to see how much they grow, not just in their Jiu-Jitsu skills, but in their confidence and the way they handle everyday challenges.

Give your little one the opportunity to experience Jiu-Jitsu! Call us today to schedule a FREE intro class.

The day I received my 4th degree from Master Pascoal Duarte and Grandmaster Carlos Gracie Jr.—I never imagined Jiu-Jitsu would take me this far. Now, here I am: 16 years as a black belt. A day that will stay in my memory forever. More than half my life dedicated to the art I love and my team @graciebarra .
