弁才天／弁財天 • Benzaiten • bè̞ń.d͡zä́ì.tè̞ɴ̀

Benzaiten is the Japanese Shinto goddess who presides over all things that flow - from water and music to art, creativity, eloquence, and wisdom. She is also revered as a deity of wealth, prosperity, and good fortune.

She is often depicted riding alongside or accompanied by dragons, who are seen as her divine messengers. But she is recognized as the third daughter of Munetsuchi, a formidable and powerful Dragon King and ruler of the oceans and seas. If you look hard enough there are rare accounts in ancient folklore that say she possesses the ability to shift between her human form and that of a dragon, an embodiment of her fluid nature as a water dirty.

Happy Halloween - until next year 🫶🏽

Halloweek @cafematailm - this year I decided to do a theme all week. The theme was different goddesses from different cultures of the world.

Unplanned and obviously not a goddess ~ Dia De Los Muertos (@aesthetically_natalie demanded something for the social media announcement and this is my easy go to look 😂)

The Morrígan ~ the Irish Goddess of War and Fate. She is deeply associated with battle, strife, prophecy, and territorial sovereignty. The bringer of change and a shapeshifter often taking the form of a raven.

Gaia ~ from Greek mythology she is said to be a primordial goddess and the physical personification of the Earth.

Isis ~ Originally called Aset, is the Egyptian goddess of magic, healing, protection, and motherhood. by @sesaoconnor

Day 9 of 10. Senior class of 2027. by @sesaoconnor

Day 8 of 10 of my senior. Class of 2027 🔥 by @sesaoconnor

Day 7 of 10 happens to be - his. Eighteenth. Birthday.

Of all the people in this world… in this entire universe… God chose me to be your mom. And for that, I will be eternally grateful. ❤️

From day one, it’s just been you and me, and I wouldn’t have it any other way — not in this lifetime or any other. If I were given the chance to do it all over again, to change anything or do anything differently, I wouldn’t. I would choose us every single time, exactly as we are.

From the moment I knew you were growing inside of me, I loved you more than life itself. And somehow, I love you more and more every day.

It hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, tears, days where you tested every ounce of me, pushed every button, and moments when I wasn’t sure how I was going to keep going. But through it all we always come out the other side stronger. You have been my greatest blessing, my greatest purpose, and one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me.

And now here we are… EIGHTEEN 🥹❤️ proof that I must have done something right.

I hope you know how proud I am of the young man you are today. And even though a part of me wishes I could slow down time…I cannot wait to watch you continue to grow, discover who you are, chase your dreams, and become the man you are meant to be.

No matter how old you get, no matter where life takes you, you will always be my Bear, my heart, and one of the very best parts of me.

Happy 18th birthday, Nakula Nimai ❤️
