Finally, I got to see how the article about me looked in print and not only on the webpage!
Holy damn, FIVE pages plus frontpage where I talk about my journey in the gamingculture and why I so want an equal gamingworld. It’s such an honor and I do hope that it might lead to some change. One can always hope!

If you want to read, you find a link at my pinned posts, it is in Swedish and behind a paywall but very worth it!

Look at my Aurora award! 🌟 🌟 🌟

During Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, I was acknowledged as one of the 15 leading women and non-binary individuals in the Nordic game industry.
I was not able to attend in person, but my Award certificate arrived in my mail, and I´m so happy and proud over it! It means a lot to be seen and also to be honored with such talented people.

I often feel that what I´ve done over the years is not enough and that I should have the energy and push myself to do more for diversity and inclusion.
But I also know that I have done a lot of work and that I have been able to do some great work to bring meaning and value to the gaming industry in the Nordics.
One step at a time, and to have my work being seen like this makes me feel so grateful and it gives me energy to keep on for some more years. Thank you ❤️

Look mum and dad, I´m in a comic book!🌟

I have a small cameo in a comic book, which is pretty cool! (A WONDER WOMAN & HARLEY QUINN COMIC!!!! ) 😍

Some years ago, Sylvain Runberg and Miki Montlló asked me if I wanted to have a small cameo in a comic they planned about Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn!!!!! 🔥
The character would be one of the Amazons, so yeah, needless to say, I screamed with hype and joy! I even got to choose my weapon of choice! (No, it did NOT become a bow! )

And here are some sneak peaks of it! I have my old purple hair in the comic (And who knows, this might be my call to get that colour back) but it´s ME!

The full comic "WONDER WOMAN & HARLEY QUINN: The Forbidden Gift" is out now and I look forward to read it later on!

I never liked training at all but this last year has finally got me into a steady routine that I truly love.

And the key to me dragging myself to the gym at least 3 times a week, most often spells Zumba.

I always liked dancing, but I was never good enough. I had a hard time picking up choreography quickly enough to match a group, and I was never some ballet material.
I tried so many different kinds of dancing in my life, from Jazz and Oriental dance to ATS and K-pop. Pole dancing might count in here as well. I loved it all, but I mostly left them because of the pressure of having to stand on stage at the end of each semester.
I never wanted to perform; I just wanted to dance, to evolve and be better, but for myself and not for others.

Zumba changed all that. I found great teachers( Birgitte!! ❤️ Christine!!❤️) that taught how fun it actually is and I finally learned how to just dance fo myself and to have fun. With that, I have gotten way, way better at everything around dancing. Like picking up choreography, moving fast and learning on the fly. I’m still horrible with left and right, but who cares because I still have so much fun.

The best bonus is the friends I found in Zumba, and they have now become a huge and important part of my life. Apart from doing Zumba each week together, we also go to Masterclasses to dance for hours when a great teacher visits Norway. And not to forget, we travelled to Copenhagen this year for the Scandinavian Zumba Party. I also make sure to go by myself to Zumba events in Sweden when the stars align with some events there.

So these days, if I cannot fit in at least 2 Zumba sessions a week, I feel so restless in my body.
I also do Bootylicious, Body Pump and Hot Absolution for incresed strength and core, but the main thing is Zumba.
I am stronger, better with posture and also way happier with myself. (I also realised I LOVE oversized crop tops and I have a new love for my tummy)

So my 40 years crisis turned out to be Zumba, apparently and that is something I can live with! 😁❤️
