Even the bag your Indra arrives in has its own story too ✨

Each Indra Jacket comes in its own handmade garment bag, sewn from upcycled saris by the women of Sewing the Seeds.

Sewing the Seeds is a non-profit creating safe, dignified employment for women from low income and marginalised communities, providing training in sewing and textiles alongside eduction and support. Their bags are made using donated and upcycled saris, giving materials another life in the process.

We love that the journey of the Indra Jacket doesn’t end when the jacket is finished. There another set of hands, another story and another woman behind the bag it comes home in.
