Focus. Speed. I am speed. With those words we were introduced to the world of Cars and the story of Lightning McQueen. Now 20 years later we finally got a proper Lego version of him, and I made one myself out of his arrogant rival Chick Hicks. But something was lacking, like a proper way to display the two. Well I fixed that! Racecars belong on a racetrack so I decided to build a portion of the track in Lego's diorama style. I did want to incude a banked portion of the oval because it just looks cooler. I also included a plaque with the infamous movie quote and the 20th anniversary logo. To also include some more scenes and moments of the movie I've included 3 micro scenes at the back, showing key moments of the first movie. Building these was a lot of fun. Can you guess which scenes? I've now put McQueen and Hicks on the diorama but you can ofcourse display any kind of racecar on it! I'd love to know what you can come up with! Since it's introduction in 2023 - after being absent from the top class for over 50 years - I have made very single Ferrari 499P until this year's cars. And that's quite a few! Every year the 499P received a new livery, where the accent coloured stripe is positioned differently. And since 2024 we got a colour swapped version in the form of the AF Corse team. The 499P managed to win the the 24 Hours of Le Mans 3 years in a row; in 2023, 24 and last year. Next year the 499P evo takes to the track, perhaps for another victory? Since 2023 there have been so many new parts and recolours introduced that made it possible to continuously update and improve the model. Not only the updated livery but also more accurate shapes and lines to get as close to the real car as possible. There is a total of 7 different modeld available. Which of these Ferrari's is your favourite? Share yours with us in the comments below, Cheers! Having built the red 499P, I couldn't forget the yellow AF Corse cousin! Last year's race winner and a colourswap of my red model, I do believe the yellow makes the car pop even more. There's some additional livery and sponsor changes to distinguish the cars beyond their inverted colours but the build remains largely the same. It builds upon the new design that I introduced with the red 499P with a complete redesign of the nose to include brickbuilt headlights. Which of the two Ferrari's is your favourite, the red or yellow car? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below, Cheers! Yes, this time it's no joke, here's the actual Ferrari 499P model! Oh boy did I trick you in April😅 A few months later I finished the 2026 version of the Scuderia's hypercar. This version is again an evolution of my previous iteration, this time taking inspiration from the recent 499P lego set. It takes the same approach to the headlights, where a road sign is used to brickbuilt the thin led bars. I had to redesign the entire front end to make them fit, and also made some changes here and there. The rear shoulders got an update too, as well as the wing mirrors, which now sit even lower compared to the older models. I'm still surprised by the fact that I can continue updating this model with the help of new pieces or new techniques, to make the 499P look even better. I still stayed true to my own design, and apart from the headlights and the printed rear led bar I didn't take any other inspiration from the lego set, as I felt it did not surpass what I already got. What are your thoughts on the new 499P model? Is this the best one yet? Share your thoughts with us in the comments, Cheers! We didn't get enough @fantasticfour sets when the movie came out but luckily a new set featuring the team's handy robot H.E.R.B.I.E came out, and I just had to pick it up! The build was quite fun with lots of finer details and snot techniques for the body. There's some repetition but not too much. What I was most surprised by was that the 'eyes' move when you turn the head. I'm impressed with how many personality the designer(s) managed to put into this model. There's even a screw driver and a coffee mug included for H.E.R.B.I.E to hold, which can be stored away in a hollow part of the body. Ofcourse had to make some photos alongside my Fantasticar moc, and it seems H.E.R.B.I.E likes it alot. Will you be building H.E.R.B.I.E. soon, or perhaps even the Fantasticar? Either way let's hear your thoughts in the comments, Cheers! While there will be no stickers available for the TR010, I did make for my personal collection, as I wanted to complete the line-up. It's really a shame as it really looks stunning. I know there's some aftermarket stickers already available for this model, so left or right I know there will be some options. I unfortunately can't share it with you but I still wanted to share with you how my TR010 would look like fully dressed out. It still looks decent without the stickers, only now it is fully on par with all my other hypercars. Cheers! This year Toyota introduced an updated hypercar to be more competitive alongside their rebranding to Toyota Racing. The newly TR010 (an upgraded GR010 with new front and rear bumpers) immediately proved quick on its debut and won at debut at Imola. It even proved to be the most reliable at Le Mans, winning Toyota another victory at the 24h race. So I had to build it eventually. Sadly, I will not release any stickers for this model as I had to remove them from other models as well. Still, I tried to get as much brickbuilt detail into the model as possible. The rear is the best part, as it includes the taillight bar fully brickbuilt. I went more for an overal shape approach compared to cramming in as much detail as possible. This does however mean that the front misses the headlights as I didn't find a way that would nicely integrate them without becoming too bulky. Apart from the new front & rear some additional changes were made to the sides too, using newer pieces for a smoother look. It's a pity I can't fully give you a detailed TR010 model but I still wanted to make one. Let me know what you think of the model in the comments, Cheers! All of my Cars models together! The official McQueen set, My Doc Hudson build and most recently the notorious Chick Hicks joins the gang. All 3 Piston Cup winners. I've also made some movie Scenes with the extra eyes stickers from @brickstickershop . I made a lot of his angry and shocked expressions, which truely define Chick throughout the movie. What was your favourite scene of Chick? And which of these 3 cars is your favourite? Share your thoughts with us in the comments, Cheers! Some of you asked how Chick looks nrxt to the official McQueen set. So here are some shots of Chick & Lightning! I've designed Chick the same way as McQueen, making it able to festure some underside details like the exhaust pipes and drive shaft. He is almost as equally fun to build as well. Overall Chick is a little bit lower and longer like we see in the movie, and more aggetated ofcourse. They look really well together on display. Which of these 2 is your favourite?
