SAN FRANCISCO SAYS HANDS OFF OUR VOTE! The midterms are less than two weeks away and MAGA is attempting to sabotage the elections anyway they can. With ICE increasing their presence in California, DHS trying to be near polling sites across the country, and the federal government unsuccessfully seeking voter lists, now is the time to stand up for our vote, election, and rights ✊ 🗳️ A strong coalition is supporting Supervisor Chen's resolution to commit SF to election integrity, support election workers, and oppose ANY intimidation against election voters and officials. Join us on Tuesday for a press conference to make our message loud and clear 📣 MAGA knows accessible & democratic elections are a threat to power. Let's demonstrate that we're ready to defend our vote, the results, and protect our elections 💯 Details: ➡️ Tuesday, October 27, 9:30am ➡️ In front of SF City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Pl. by @sfrisingaction

You may have heard of the reports ICE has launched "Operation Safe California," a 45-day crackdown starting in SoCal and moving north to the Bay Area. So far, the operation hasn't been verified. However, there are reports of increased ICE operations across multiple parts of California, particularly in key swing districts. In advance of the midterms, DHS said last week that it will be focusing attention on sanctuary cities. We need to watch, organize, and be prepared for anything, now, during Election Day, and after. It is crucial we spread power, not panic. Read, share, and follow us and rapid response networks to stay up to date and be prepared to act if there is an ICE raid in the Bay Area. Sign the Bay Get Ready pledge to commit to defending our communities and the election results. We will not be intimidated! SIGN THE PLEDGE: bit.ly/BayGetReady (link in bio!) by @sfrisingaction
Resist attacks on our communities! Organize to stop fascism! Confront the Oligarchs! Build power with local community & labor organizations! Connect with grassroots Bay Resistance network organizations, local resistance organizing, and campaigns! When: October 8, 6-8pm RSVP: bit.ly/sf-resistance-meeting (location will then be shared) by @sfrisingaction
