K here goes.

😵‍💫 @displacemusic jammed a beautiful wedding at @jannuslive ft. @alexpalmerfl + @palm_trees1985 w/ the homie @sidetrakdmusic . Went on @jamcruise and played all the music everywhere literally all night. Dropped a new single “All In” ft. @ericbennybloom (@lettucefunk ) on trumpet, then jammed a killer set at @whippersnapfest ft. @joemarcinekband and @soozabrassband

🫠 I went out and jammed with @runaway_gin and then my body was like “we’ve been trying to reach you about your extended downtime” and collapsed a lung during Harry Potter 7 w/ live orchestra @floridaphilorchestra . Reinflated, went to a dope @springbreakbotb and then had a second lung collapse >> full on surgery.

🫡 Homie with the scalpel successfully yeeted out the blebs, and I will live at least another 5 mins. Big ups to my MLE / @ablondem for being by my side through all that, and helping oversee things while I was on drugs.

🤪 We bought a new studio to add to our music school / recording studio / talent empire, and now I’m recovering with an incentive spirometer while producing mad albums. Shoutout to the epic guitar solo @mr.whiskers_and_the_nine_lives ripped on “Breakdown”!!!

🥳 While I’m strictly prohibited from playing any shows, with a hard no on saxophone and vocals for at least a month that will 😭substantially 😭 delay 😭 the next 😭 Displace 😭 releases , I’m stoked to have found time to focus on producing / helping drop new music from swag artists @facethefence @anechoremains @boycottband.tampa @naomi.fleming7 @ironcurtain_tpa @crashandburn_band !!

🗣️ Still not dead yet, so stay tuned for dope releases that I inevitably won’t post about since I guess I properly use this app 5 times a year idk.

$My girlfriend @ablondem was super sad when #AlexTrebek passed, so I made her this #funk #cover of the #Jeopardy theme song featuring #sax and #keytar. Figured I’d break a 16-month Instagram #hiatus with something super silly. Very stoked to have less hiatuses and more sharing of fun musical adventures. Stay tuned! 🎵🔜🌎 As always, shoutout to my peeps: @presonus #StudioOne @fractalaudiosystems #axefx3 @elixir_strings #optiweb @vandorenusa #Java @nordkeyboards #Stage2EX @roland_us #AxEdge @epiphone #LesPaul #CustomPro @fretwraps #GruvGear 🔥❤️🎵 by @sgammatomusic$

😵‍💫 Man. A lot has happened this year in terms of capstone canon events! @displacemusic dropped the 4th and final concept album of its concept discography, with its best lineup yet, to a sold out show at @crowbarybor where we’ve had every album release for the past decade.

🤯 @sgammatoschool has expanded into a recording studio, talent agency, production company and soon to be 501c(3). We can now officially help musicians get set up in the music industry along every single step of their musical journey, from first childhood notes well into adulthood as professional independent contractors. The organization bears my name, but we have 11 teachers and 7 support staff that make up the whole thing. It’s a lot bigger than just me could ever be, and the team’s output far eclipses my own individually. It’s insane.

🥹 It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a flyer for a show that doesn’t have one of our Fam on it. Proud is a word, but an accurate one doesn’t exist to truly describe the feeling.

🔄 I have witnessed more evidence than ever before that everything I could have ever hoped to set out to do in this life has not only been done, but sufficient infrastructure has been put in place to ensure that this focused energy will continue long after I expire.

😅 This is a weird way to tell my friends that I have testicular cancer and am undergoing surgery on Monday, but I hope it helps explain why I have been kinda distant lately as we try to deal with it.

🙏🏼 Super grateful for this life and everyone who has made it everything it is. Seeing so many of my longtime music school homies jam out one last blowout at Crowbar last night just absolutely confirmed all of the above in a beautiful way.

🫡 Prolly not dying, but it never hurts to tell the ones we love that we love them. And I love y’all. by @sgammatomusic

😎 @displacemusic Southeast U.S. Tourette was hella swag! Big ups to @rainman18p and @gatecitybrewingco for having us over for an epic #aliveinroswell

😅 Friday morning we accidentally got coffee in a super rich place we did NOT belong in. Luckily we got our mud water before getting kicked out lol @themillfountaininn was a daope show!

👵🏼 Next morn we ended up at every southern grandma’s dream haven and had porch breakfast in rocking chairs en route to the legendary @highlandbrewing for an awesome sunset set!!

😵‍💫 Sunday morning we had an early set at @newrealmbrewing and caught some swag water hangs with duckies. Overnight drive back into lessons now.

🙏🏼 Grateful that my lung didn’t recollapse, nobody died, and we had a blast. Thanks to @funkdupproductions for booking the run and @ablondem for holding everything down per usual :)

🥳 @facethefence drops their new single “Make Up Your Mind” on all streaming platforms this FRI! So stoked!

😎 Our music school’s #HomeGrown show ft. 100% #FloridaMusic was a huge success! 50+ kiddos jammed 70+ songs to a just under 300 peeps in 6 hours at @crowbarybor . Wild! Big ups to all of the local / Florida bands who came out to support the kiddos who jammed their tunes, snap pics for a meet and greet, and gas up the little homies.

🔄 I always knew our Florida music community was dope, and it was so special to unite colleagues in my world as a professional musician with the future artists who will eventually replace us.

💪🏼 Big ups to our teacher and production crew:

@hgwtmusic - “Fairweather” cover by @jocelyn_hobson_music . Full song to be performed live at @crowbarybor SUN 11/17/24 for our #HomeGrown [vol2] show celebrating the music of 50+ Tampa Bay / Florida artists. by @sgammatomusic

$😎 @displacemusic had an absolute BLAST jamming @gatecitybrewingco ’s Alive in #Roswell! We drove overnight through sunrise to jam at a beautiful place run by the awesome @rainman18p , with some wonderful longtime homies and #JamCruisers representing! Special thanks to @silentjstudio for trusting us with #Clif to haul our rig. 🙏🏼 😵‍💫 Tonight we bring all the weirdness we accumulated from long hours on the road and an inverted sleep cycle to the very creative and weird @dunedinbrewery . We’ll be busting out some old bangers and getting extremely experimental because …. DunBrew. 🤙🏼 Next weekend we head to the east coast to team up with @truphonicmusic for a Double Birthday Double Header at #pineapplesegad for @jakesalterlive and @mr.whiskers_and_the_nine_lives birthday. Got another immediate overnight haul back across the state to run Beats on the Streets, an epic single-day music festival in Tampa featuring a dozen Sgammato Music School artists on the same lineup as @tankandthebangas 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. 😎 The following weekend we bring the kiddos across the bay to jam @bayborobrewing for our St. Pete Fam. Then we jet off on a southeast U.S. tourette before releasing a new single that may or may not feature a legendary @jamcruise funky brass boi. 🤐 🤪 Stacked schedules like the next few months cost me quite a few more brain cells these days, so come marvel and poke fun at the mental unraveling 🙃 🔥❤️🎵 🙏🏼 Shoutout to the peeps who keep me jamming: 🛒@sweetwatersound 🔌 @hosatech 🐊 @gatorcases 🎚 @presonus 🎛 @presonusstudioone 🎹 @nordkeyboards 🎸 @elixirstrings 📟 @fractalaudio #hashtags #internet #idk #music #concert #tour by @sgammatomusic$

$🥳 Had a blast jamming with my #BuffaloStrange brothers at @thefloridiansocial last night! What a great show! 🚐 Stoked for some southeast U.S. travel dates this fall around FL, GA, and the Carolinas with the @displacemusic bois. Lotta new 🎵 cooking, from the studio and the school. 🙏🏼 Shoutout to the peeps who keep us jamming: 🛒@sweetwatersound 🔌 @hosatech 🐊 @gatorcases 🎚 @presonus 🎛 @presonusstudioone 🎹 @nordkeyboards 🎸 @elixirstrings 📟 @fractalaudio #hashtagsalad #floridamusic #tampamusic #idontlikesocialmediamarketing #cringe #kthatsgood #nicehashtagsbro by @sgammatomusic$

$😎 Played a super swag show at the @hardrocktampa with @displacemusic Friday night, then ran an all-day multi-stage kiddo music festival for 15 hrs on Saturday. So blessed that my two jobs are to do what I love, and teach others to do the same. ❤️ 🫡 My mission is to bring our school’s top bands to every single venue and festival their teachers play and tour on. It’s already been a great year sharing some lineups with our students. So stoked for what we’ve got cooking! 😭 💪🏼 Recording Studio renovation starts today. Can’t wait to get the updated mixing room dialed in and keep cranking out albums for the homies. By the end of this year, we’ll have tracked / mixed / produced / released over 200 student original songs on all streaming platforms 🤯 🔥❤️🎵 Big ups to all the homies from our school that jammed Summer Youth Music Festival at @thefactorystpete yesterday: @facethefence @marynalyse_music @alleycatk_music @jajacksonmusic #CharlesWilliams #AbigailRush @jules_abbtt @lindseyis_treble @dracopaco_048 @naomi.fleming7 @d_meiczinger @jocelyn_hobson_music @ava.ja1m8 @soleilsofiasings @ironcurtaincult @grantshurleymusic @stillnotjordan @jakebrown2252 @jajacksonmusic @_dom.fusco @mmaaxxkk_bc @nelson.garcia__ @the_cafe_rabbit #Nora #Lilli #Mason #Cyrus 💡 Thanks @hollyplaysbass for setting it all up! 🙏🏼 Shoutout to the brands who keep us jamming: 🛒@sweetwatersound 🔌 @hosatech 🐊 @gatorcases 🎚 @presonus 🎛 @presonusstudioone 🎹 @nordkeyboards 🎸 @elixirstrings 📟 @fractalaudio #hashtag #anotherhashtag #internetmarketing #whatever by @sgammatomusic$

$🫡 The homies are assembled. @displacemusic jams @rubys_elixir tomorrow night 10pm-2am ft. Special Guest @miguel_makes_music on bass. 🥳 My student @marynalyse_music drops the first single “Main Character” from her upcoming album tonight at midnight! She also plays @watersttampa tomorrow 6pm-9pm to celebrate! 🤘🏼 Sgammato Music School band @facethefence crushes @spottampa Saturday night at 7pm! I’m also playing Water St solo if the weather holds up. 🙏🏼 Eternally grateful to be booking the kids on all the same dope gigs I play / played myself, and that they’re now at a pro level getting their own gigs too. It’s like. Absolutely crazy. 🤑 Before the end of this year, we’ll have booked over $5k in paid pro gigs for our current and former student artists. It’s a horrible business model, but I’m super stoked to say that the kiddos keep 100% of the $ from any gig we book them. Blessed to be in a position to give back and get them started young in the industry, and to have an incredible network of talent buyers who trust our squad to provide them with top talent at such a young age. 😎 Today was an extremely shitty day for reasons I’m not comfortable disclosing publicly, but overall this life is pretty neat. Stoked for therapy this weekend. 🔥❤️🎵 🙏🏼 Shoutout to the peeps who keep me jamming: 🛒@sweetwatersound 🔌 @hosatech 🐊 @gatorcases 🎚 @presonus 🎛 @presonusstudioone 🎹 @nordkeyboards 🎸 @elixirstrings 📟 @fractalaudiosystems #TampaMusic #TampaMusicSchool #MusicLessons #TouringMusician #FloridaMusic #Saxophone #MainCharacter by @sgammatomusic$

🥳 Hella stoked to bring two of Sgammato Music School’s super badass bands to @sunshinegetdown this Saturday! All-girl power quartet @boycottbandtampa kicks off the music for the day at noon, followed by indie-punk rockers @facethefence

🫡 Grateful to have students from our school jamming the same sacred grounds their teachers will also be playing! @fiddleicious crushes a double with @light.the.wire and @tirefireofficial and I’ll be bouncing around as an Artist-At-Large tooting my 🎷 through the wee hours of the eve.

🔄 The only way to properly teach young peeps how to be real musicians is to be a real musician yourself. Eternally stoked for and proud of all the badass actively gigging artists / teachers here at our school! We walk the walk so these kiddos can run the world. And in case you missed it: they out here. 😎
