I had a blast producing this video of the 2nd year of @boomtownfestavl 🎉❤️

Boomtown Festavl's fearless leader @andyroo4392 and his team have created such a impressive and fun event for Asheville featuring so many awesome musical acts, local artists, delicious food, and multiple venues throughout the 3-day festival. I've been honored to capture it both years as a hired producer for @iamavl - and already looking forward to next year! ❤️ by @shadow_light_creative

We are forever grateful to do this work. Our clients are amazing, and we love collaborating with our ever-growing community of fellow creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners to help bring their dreams to life.

From our crew of “dreamers” to you and yours… Thank You all for your continued trust in our team and our vision.

We look forward to all the new connections and exciting adventures in store for 2025! 🙏🔥🙌 by @shadow_light_creative

We’ve been so busy working with our awesome clients lately, that we have been slacking on sharing what we’ve been doing with you all! Our next few posts are going to be catching you up to speed on what’s been going down over here at Team SLC.

It was very moving to capture this special tribute to Dolly Parton by Asheville-based @tanasi_band
Filmed in front of this beautiful mural by @guscutty and with an impromptu audience of friends and neighbors who all came to honor Dolly’s inspiring life, work, and legacy.

Special thanks to @steveatkinsphotography and of course mural artist Gus Cutty

We will always love you #dollyparton 🤍 by @shadow_light_creative

A piece of Asheville history is coming down.

The former St. Joseph's Hospital campus has cared for generations of Western North Carolinians, with roots stretching back more than a century.

Watching it disappear is a reminder that every skyline tells a story - and eventually, a new chapter begins.

Starting Today!

Season 7 of Echo Sessions by @iamavl in @echomountainrecording starts today!

I love being a part of this team. Check out this promo I made for the release 😎

A message from @jukebleezy co-founder of IamAVL:
“This evening we begin releasing the latest season of Echo Sessions! When we thought the studio was closing for good, we smashed a bunch of bands into a short window and now have 13 episodes to share this summer. Everybody thought they were playing in that church for the last time and the energy was absolutely magic with every artist that came through. We're gonna be releasing them every Sunday evening at 8 PM at iamavl.com starting tonight with @newdawnstarkestra ✨🛸🔥” by @shadow_light_creative

"Car Wash" cover by Asheville Rockestra.
Asheville Music School's Rockestra debuted on April 30, 2026 at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. Here is the 28 piece band performing "Car Wash" by Rose Royce, released in 1976. The entire evening, Sound Effects Benefit Concert, celebrated music released in 1976, with proceeds benefiting nonprofit organization Asheville Music School (AMS). The band included students from AMS bands Minør and Dr. Funky Squirrel, as well as Lucia Bluebird, and many other Asheville Music School teachers and students. by @shadow_light_creative

We were just told that we are on the bill for @avlsoundsfest in early August this year!
