My @wallflowermccoy account was hacked back in April after my Portugal show. As of yesterday, I was finally able to access it. I can't help but to think that if one day this internet thing is no longer, then what will we have with each other? @shainamccoy_ is NOW my backup page ✌🏾 1. I am pleased to announce that @avant.arte // @avantarteinsiders and I have collaborated on a limited edition print. Tomorrow, we will be releasing only 25 of them. 1pm GMT // 8am CST The team over at @pov.evolving made my wildest printmaking dreams happen. The print is an 18 Layer Textured UV Pigment Print with Semi Gloss Spot Varnish on 640gsm Lana hot press paper. Something that excites me about this print is that it carries the same texture as the original painting. Every little brush stroke is present & that brings me much satisfaction and an appreciation for this technique. If you know me, this is a big leap out of my comfort zone. All this to say is, don't stop playing. Make room to experiment & expand. Hoops 25.2" x 19.3" 2022 Link in bio 💛🏀💜🎀 by @shainamccoy_

some softness for your timeline #1 a painting of cousin Tasha. #3 is a drawing I did. Drawing helps me loosen up. Although I'm super intentional when it comes to each brush stroke, I have to just let things be on the canvas as is. In the way that when you make a mark on a piece of paper, there is no erasure. #6 is a painting by Noah Davis from his solo show at the Underground Museum, LA. #shainamccoy #oilpainting by @shainamccoy_
