POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I’m Shalene! Owner and Mentor at @westernblondesalon .

I’m the kind of woman who builds with intention behind the scenes and in the salon chair. Western Blonde Salon isn’t just where I work… it’s what I’m creating: a space where women feel seen, confident, and cared for, and where our team grows with purpose, consistency, and heart.

Motherhood made me a hustler long before it ever made me a leader. It taught me how to show up tired and still give my best, how to stretch time, how to make something out of nothing, and how to keep going when quitting would’ve been easier. I learned grit in the everyday moments, real life, real pressure, real responsibility.

But somewhere along the way, the hustle evolved.

Now I’m becoming the leader I once needed building systems, setting standards, and pouring into the people around me. I’m not just working in my business anymore… I’m leading through it. I’m raising the bar, creating opportunity, and proving that you can be soft, strong, and successful all at once.

I’m not chasing perfection. I’m committed to growth.

And I’m building Western Blonde with faith, fire, and a whole lot of purpose every single day.

I’m not interested in building a team where everyone stays exactly where they started.

I want to see you grow.

Behind the chair.
In your confidence.
In your income.
In your leadership.
And in the life you’re building outside of work.

That requires education AND accountability. Encouragement AND hard conversations. Celebrating the wins AND being willing to look at what needs to change.

If you’re looking for a team where growth is expected, supported and celebrated, I’d love to meet you.

DM me “GROW.” by @shaleneleads

Leadership has been one of the biggest learning experiences of owning a business.

I have high expectations, but those expectations come with education, support, resources and someone who genuinely wants to see you succeed.

I’ll celebrate you when you win, coach you when you’re struggling and have the hard conversation when I know you’re capable of more.

And I’ll continue expecting myself to grow right alongside my team.

Because I don’t want to simply employ people.

I want to develop leaders. by @shaleneleads

Great time is an understatement! 🤎 Always the BEST time when we’re together. So thankful for this friendship, the laughs, the memories, and all the moments we get to share. 🥹

Thank you for all the memories we continue to make together. Wouldn’t trade this friendship for anything! Love ya! #hudsonwestbrook by @shaleneleads

Chicago goes down as one of the best trips so far! Love this city! Until next@time! by @shaleneleads

Golden birthday… 16 on the 16th 💛✨

I truly cannot believe I’m writing this. This past weekend in Chicago with you has been the absolute highlight of my year. Time together gets harder to come by as you get older, so getting to spend these moments making memories with you meant more to me than I can put into words.

Watching you grow into the young man you are becoming has been one of the greatest honors of my life. You make me laugh, challenge me, make me proud, and remind me every day that time really does move too fast.

Happy Golden Birthday to my son. 16 on the 16th feels extra special… but not nearly as special as you are.

I love you more than you’ll ever know. Slow down a little please! Driving and growing! Love you so much! by @shaleneleads

One of the most rewarding parts of leadership is helping others see what’s possible for themselves. By sharing knowledge, encouraging growth, and leading by example, we create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

A strong salon isn’t built by one person it’s built by a team of confident, empowered professionals who continue to learn, grow, and inspire the people around them. 🤍
