For those who missed my retirement ceremony, my friend captured it really well and made a cute video. Truth be told, the ceremony was hard. And when my friend, the narrator, said “you have been released from active-duty” I was really sad and I cried. This is a season of mourning. But I look forward to figuring out who I want to be now. How can I serve now? I just want to help people. That’s my passion! by @shanteshante313

OMG… this is so much harder to say than I expected.

After 20 years… I’m retiring from the Air Force.

It’s not just a number—it’s 2 decades of sacrifice, growth, resilience, long days, hard seasons, and moments that changed me forever. This journey has shaped me in ways I’ll carry for the rest of my life.

The Air Force has been a huge part of who I am… so saying this out loud feels surreal.

At the same time, I’m incredibly grateful, proud, and hopeful for what’s ahead. I know this next chapter is going to be something special😏

Now that I’ve finally said it… I would truly love to celebrate this moment with the people who have supported me along the way—my friends, family, and those I’ve had the honor of working beside.

My retirement ceremony will be in Virginia this October, and it would mean so much to have y’all there 💙 More details to come. by @shanteshante313

My baby does not post about his accomplishments, but I do! Terrel is getting promoted to SMSgt (E-8) after just 14 years of service—a huge achievement!

He leads with both heart and firmness, which is a powerful combination. He works hard, treats people the way they deserve to be treated, and takes care of his team. Leadership like that cannot be faked—it is IN him, and not ON him. I’m just so proud❤️ He has been blessed with extraordinary mentors who played vital roles in his progression🙌🏾 by @shanteshante313
