Yesterday was bigger than football! Took my sons, a few of my young athletes and good men to the Maryland vs. Rutgers game. Great vibes, great memories, and a great experience!

I’m still in recovery mode, but one thing hasn’t changed… MY MISSION! 💪🏾❤️

It’s bigger than sports. It’s about showing up, creating opportunities, and pouring into the next generation! 💯

WE ALL WE GOT! 🤞🏾 by @shapingfuturesinc

As a coach and mentor, I tell my young athletes all the time: Your talent may open doors, but your grades will help keep them open!

You can be the best player on the field or court, but if you’re not handling your business in the classroom, you’re limiting your own future.

To my athletes: Be a STUDENT first, ATHLETE second! Bring that same dedication, discipline, and hunger to the classroom that you bring to your sport.

To my parents and fellow coaches: Let’s hold our youth accountable both ON and OFF the field. We’re raising more than athletes. We’re developing future leaders!

At Shaping Futures Inc., it’s bigger than sports. We’re building character, creating opportunities, and SHAPING FUTURES! 🏆

Today, we celebrate the incredible mothers, grandmothers, bonus moms, aunties, and mother figures who pour love, strength, sacrifice, and support into our youth every single day.

Behind every athlete is a village — and moms are often the heart of it all. Thank you for the rides, the encouragement, the sidelines support, the late nights, the early mornings, and the unconditional love you give so freely.

Your impact goes far beyond the game… you are truly shaping futures. 🏆✨

Even while I’m in recovery, the mission doesn’t stop.

Last night, Shaping Futures had the opportunity to send some of our amazing kids and their families to the Washington Wizards game! 🏀

Moments like these remind me why we do what we do — creating experiences, building community, and shaping brighter futures one opportunity at a time.

Grateful for our supporters and team who continue to make things happen behind the scenes. The work continues. 🙏🏽✨
