One of my favorite parts of covering events is meeting the people who make the night unforgettable.

I caught up with an incredible nurse on her way into the Rick Ross Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Tour, and she definitely understood the assignment. She stepped out looking like a real-life Black Barbie with a Cinderella twist, elegant, confident, and ready for a night to remember. ✨👠

Beyond the look, it was great hearing from someone who spends so much of her time caring for others finally getting the chance to enjoy herself.

Every event is bigger than the pictures. It's another chapter. 📖🎤

Walking into the Rick Ross Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Tour representing @power92chicago was a reminder that consistency really does create opportunities.

From interviewing fans with stories that reached beyond Chicago, to capturing the energy surrounding one of hip hop's most iconic albums, it was another opportunity to do what I love connect with people through culture.

Grateful for every room I'm trusted to walk into, every artist, every fan, and every conversation that reminds me why I started this journey.
