POSTS STORIES REELS

My “La La La” series debuted at @artistsandafros 2025. Thinking it may be time to do my first solo show in some years 👀 by @shauntriceblack

Little is written about Mr. English, but if you’ve been in the West End of #Louisville, you’ve likely seen his #artwork. From the life of @muhammadali to the Parkland riots to the @nlbmuseumkc and beyond his art has continued to tell our story. Let’s celebrate #ThomasEnglish and give him his flowers.

Tag Mr. English if you know him! We love his work.

Once again I had the pleasure of working with @kristhompsonart at @kmacmuseum. The #MaterialObsession #miniMacro opening reception was such a good time. Loved seeing all the different ways #localartists interpreted the brief! Shout out to Julia Comer for presenting such a well thought guide and MUCH LOVE to @r.e.schmidt for hanging the show. And it was good to see @sandraspaintings as always.

#miniMACRO at @kmacmuseum opens in less than 24 hours. Come thru to see my work along with #art from @lovelyallenart @petalos_by_ada @godivagoddessart @theartist_rag and more #localartists. Thank you @kristhompsonart for curating such a beautiful show! by @shauntriceblack

Generative ai is anti-Black. @jjellisart often says things that I have trouble articulating due to the rage I feel when reading some of these ai posers. There is no such thing as “ai art”. Yall out here polluting our water and raising our utility prices just to fake the funk. Trump/Musk/Altman get rich off ai and meanwhile yall/we losing money/resources. Smh

@dr.jabani is the type of woman whose existence insists that those who behold her must first recalibrate their thinking. And if you don’t understand, then that’s exactly what I’m talking about.
