How is it possible that I have had a whole year with you already?!?!? I could talk about what milestones you've hit in this last month, what foods you're eating, and how you're starting to teeter around holding onto our hands but that doesn't seem like enough. I'd rather talk about how you are truly the light of my life, my tiny little best friend that goes everywhere with me ever since you were born. No matter what kind of day I'm having picking you up from daycare seeing your face and holding you makes all of the bad stuff wash away. I hated all of the unknowns that come with babies and children and it made me so hesitant to have any. You have shown me in just one year what an honor all of it is, the late nights, the endless feedings and diaper changes. The stuffy noses, the constant growing in and out of clothes, staying up at night desperately waiting to hear you breathe, wondering at every moment if I'm doing the right thing and what's best for you. It's all been such an honor. I hope that I will forever remember your tiny sounds and nuances as you've grown through stages this year, I will cherish them forever. As excited as I am to see where your second year takes you I will always remember our first year together baby girl. You are one of a kind ❤️ by @shawnag17

11 Months, and a few weeks, and I've been struggling with the fact that somehow you are almost 1 year old already! You completed your 4th roundtrip flight, continue to zoom around the floor crawling and in your walker, desperately trying to "play" with Bentley, you're pointing at EVERYTHING and noticing things that take me by surprise at times. Your so inquisitive and starting to show interest in toys :) You're truly the best, I'm so grateful for you ❤️ by @shawnag17

How are you only a month and a half away from being ONE already 😭 You have been flying through milestones lately and leaving me in the dust. In about 2 weeks time you went from crawling to standing up, holding onto things, walking around the coffee table and along the couch. You're climbing and exploring with absolutely no fear. You've cut your first two teeth and finally starting to show interest in trying foods. You're still a no nap queen but you sleep through the night like a dream. Still making lots of noises and sounds, no words yet. I love every single day with you baby girl. by @shawnag17

How do we stop time over here?? You are growing so fast and I'm desperately trying to savor every moment. You went from inch worming to straight up crawling in just a matter of weeks and now you crawl EVERYWHERE around the house. My new favorite thing is the sound of your hands "stomping" on the wood floors. You are a determined little explorer with no fear which I love, and also is the root cause of my anxiety. You are holding your own bottles now and started showing slightly more interest in purees. You are such a happy girl, I hope you always stay that way ❤️ by @shawnag17

Better late than never...right. At 8 months, baby girl, you are now sitting up all on your own and it's your new favorite position! You also started to inch worm your way around the house and mastered that in about 2 weeks time. Not very interested in any food yet but continuing to smile all the time. You are the sunshine in our lives ❤️ by @shawnag17

7 months together and I continue to be more and more obsessed with you everyday ❤️ You are the sweetest smiliest baby I've ever known. You've recently mastered sitting up without support however still teeter over when reaching for things. Recent favorite hobbies include putting everything in your mouth, blowing raspberries constantly, flying around the house in your walker, grabbing at everything, and cooing in different octaves. You are the highlight of everyone's day, in this house, and you are so incredibly loved. by @shawnag17

Happy Half Birthday little girl! I CAN'T believe you're six months old already. My heart never ached when I used the expression, "time flies" before until I had you. Trying to keep you from growing so quickly is like trying to hold water in my hands. Your constantly smiling face has a way of washing all my worries of the day away. You're babbling now, changing octaves, grabbing at things, holding your feet and toes, giving big belly laughs, wanting to sit up so badly, and perhaps my favorite thing of all leaning into me for comfort and cuddles now. You have my whole heart little girl ❤️ by @shawnag17

Month 5 flew by baby girl, and not just because you had your first...and second...trip on an airplane. You're a true tummy time champ! You've started to grab things and hold onto them, lots of giggles and smiles, discovering you have feet and kicking and touching them a lot! Sucking on your fingers has become a new self soothing go to. Of all your new firsts this month my favorite would have to be a tie between your first official belly laugh and starting to reach for me. You are such an amazingly good baby! I'm so incredibly grateful everyday for you ❤️ by @shawnag17
