Remembrance is a weapon.

Every time I look back at the morning of my wedding I am overcome with gratitude.

All the prayers I had prayed for 5 years were coming to fruition before my very eyes.

The husband waiting for me

The community worshipping with me

The same faithful God witnessing to me that he heard every prayer.

Thank you Jesus 💌

Our story isn’t everyone’s but it became a part of our testimony to keeping purity, to keeping Jesus at the center, and to honoring each other before we became one.

…YES it was worth the wait, wasn’t awkward, and was beautiful!

He hears us… On our wedding day we had planned to eat our wedding cake during fireworks with family and friends. However, after traffic, weather and our car keys getting mistakenly taken it just didn’t work out to eat our wedding cake during the firework show (or even attending fireworks at all)

We ended up cutting our cake privately and packing up our car to drive to our honeymoon cabin before heading to our second location (the beach). Slightly disappointed but determined to be rooted in gratitude.

Fast forward to Day 3 of our honeymoon we were told about the firework show. We had brought our wedding cake and YALL its such a testimony that even the little things we care about he sees!! It was so special and we felt so seen. Not only did we get a firework show but God gave us a lighting storm at the same time!

Gosh I Love how Jesus loves us!!💌🥹

I truly can’t even begin to explain what an answered prayer this day was.
However, I will leave you with this, the Lord knows the desires of our hearts, ask, seek, knock and then dance🤗

God heard every prayer, saw every tear and answered in every way.

~Thank you Jesus for your loving kindness and faithfulness.
