I finished my senior mural one year ago today! Ft the ancient taxidermy from the art closet which was once my home. by @sheeparefluffy
Hello everyone ! I painted this fall semester of 2019 but hadn’t posted it up here yet. I wanted to try to revive this art account of mine :) This painting was based primarily based upon The Goldfish & The Open Window, both by Henri Matisse. 🐠This is a still of my fish tank, featuring some neon tetra & a discus fish. Oil on canvas. by @sheeparefluffy

Ceramic Stoplight Parrot Fish, for a collection of tiles I’m making of Caribbean reef fish species, to be part of a huge mosaic. Some stoplight parrot fish facts: They are Corallivores, eating coral, for the coral polyps & the zooxanthellae (symbiotic algae). Then they 💩the remnants of the calcium carbonate coral skeleton as fine white sand, producing tons of sand per acre of reef annually, helping maintain healthy reef ecosystems. That’s why Caribbean sand is so nice! They are harem-forming & change sexes during their lifespans. The red one is the initial phase as a female, the aqua one is a male in terminal phase. The timing of the sex change can vary depending on population density, growth, and mortality rates. by @sheeparefluffy
