The power of 'Love U bro'. I have genuinely loved many men and told them countless times right throughout my barber career. Men from all different backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures from me. As they share their stories and hearts, I seek to understand and find the similarities between us. Some men I have agreed with, some I have disagreed with, I’ve laughed with some, argued with others… BUT I've always done my best to look for the sacred in him, and SPEAK to the sacred in him, until the sacred in him remembers, just who he really is. When I see HIM, I can always say genuinely: ‘Love U Bro’ It can be powerful, awkward, healing, uncomfortable, inviting, connecting and liberating all in these magical three words, because when they are spoken directly to the sacred place within each man, love really does work miracles. Thank you to each of these beautiful men, whom I adore, who stepped up willingly when I randomly asked them, "Can you please ring a man in your life that you care about and tell them LOVE U BRO?" These mixed reactions are priceless 🤣😅🥹😍 If you're keen to join us on LOVE U BRO day, to help us raise crucial funds for our work then please visit www.loveUbro.org and join a movement founded in LOVE. by @sheisnotyourrehab

For those who grew up with good fathers, share your stories with us in the comments. Some of us are still learning what that looks like🖤 What’s one thing your dad did that made you feel loved and safe? 📷 A beautiful moment captured by @davemills.sportsphotography. My brother embracing my niece after her incredible achievement of making her debut for the Under 21 Black Ferns. A reminder of why we do this work. Breaking cycles isn’t just about what we leave behind, but what we choose to give our children. 🖤 by @sheisnotyourrehab
Last week, we had the absolute honour of spending time in the beautiful community of TOWNSVILLE, sharing our story and the message behind This Is Not Yours To Carry. 💙 From visiting local schools and reading with children to joining over 200 advocates, frontline workers and community leaders at the Changing the Conversation Prevention Forum, it was a busy few days! Loved hanging with our brother @_davekramer too! If we want to change the future for our children, we have to be willing to look at what we’re teaching them today. The conversations we have, the behaviours we model and the things we choose to challenge all matter. Breaking cycles of violence is possible, but it takes all of us. And we’re grateful to work alongside people who share that belief and are committed to making change happen in their own communities. One of those people is our powerhouse friend Elise Feltham at @betterfuturesaus. Elise, thank you for bringing so many people together, for your tireless commitment to prevention and for the incredible work you continue to lead in Townsville. We’re so grateful for you and your team! A huge thank you also to the team at @fuelforschools, who have worked alongside Elise to help get more copies of This Is Not Yours to Carry into the hands of children and families across the wider Townsville community, helping spread this important message even further. To Wulguru State School and Hermit Park State School, thank you for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share this message with your students. And to the Queensland Government, thank you for supporting this work and helping us reach more children and families. Townsville, thank you for having us and for being part of the conversation. 💙 by @sheisnotyourrehab
Such a special and meaningful day at Wulguru State School ❤️ Matt and Sarah Brown visited to share their beautiful children’s book, This Is Not Yours To Carry — helping children develop emotional literacy, understand domestic and family violence, and recognise that the responsibility for violence never belongs to them. A day filled with learning, connection and some very important conversations. Because educating children, building understanding and giving them the language to express their feelings can make a lasting difference. A huge thank you to @fuelforschools for helping bring this important visit together. And to @sheisnotyourrehab for sharing their message and reminding us that every small step towards change matters. ❤️ by @sheisnotyourrehab
Massive congratulations to everyone involved in this year’s NORTHSOUTH 100 ROLLZ! Big thanks to Tukaha Jiu Jitsu, Freaks Jiu Jitsu, Grappling HQ, and our bros over the ditch at Northsouth Newcastle. Together we’ve managed to raise close to $10k here in New Zealand, with the crew over in Aussie raising well over $10k! These events will continue every year for as long as we breathe. A massive shout out to the crew at She Is Not Your Rehab for taking the funds raised here in NZ and putting them to good use towards mental health. Thanks to @smokey_ts for supplying the sausages ! This is just the beginning. To everyone who rolled, donated, supported or helped make this happen, thank you. It still blows me away how many people get behind this every year. This year was massive. Bring on next year! P.S. For everyone who ordered the camo tees, they’ll be ready soon! NORTHSOUTH ❤️ by @sheisnotyourrehab

Asking men to break cycles must come with somewhere to learn how. Recognising a pattern is a starting point, but changing it takes skills that many men were never taught. That’s why we created @innerboyapp To help men understand their emotions and take responsibility for how they respond. Where compassion and accountability belong in the same conversation. This is where emotional education becomes part of violence prevention. What men put into practice can change what their partners experience, what their children learn and what gets passed on. Because “I never learned how” can explain where we start. It cannot be where we leave the next generation. 🖤 by @sheisnotyourrehab
✨ JUST TWO DAYS TO GO, TOWNSVILLE! ✨ This Thursday, we’re bringing together 200+ people from across our community for Changing the Conversation – Townsville Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Forum! 💛 And we’re officially FULLY BOOKED! We’re incredibly excited to welcome Matt & Sarah Brown from She Is Not Your Rehab, David Kramer, behavioural scientist and prevention advocate, and Paddy Pool from Fuel for Schools. Together, we’ll explore something that we believe deserves far more attention: How do we prevent domestic and family violence before it happens? How do we break cycles of violence? How do we support children growing up in unsafe homes? And how can each of us, whether we’re working in education, business, government, community services or simply raising a family, contribute to meaningful change? Because prevention isn’t just the responsibility of police, government or specialist services. It’s everyone’s responsibility, and everyone has a role to play. A huge thank you to our event partners @thevilletsv , our sponsors and everyone who has registered to join us. We can’t wait for an afternoon of honest conversations, fresh perspectives and, hopefully, some wonderful new partnerships. Changing attitudes starts with conversations. Changing lives starts with action 💚 📅 Thursday 29 October 2026 📍 The Pavilion Ballroom, The Ville Resort–Casino 🕐 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm by @sheisnotyourrehab
