Kayleigh Bush is a wonderful testimony of Romans 8:28
All things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose.

She had her title taken away as Miss North Florida, because she refused to sign a contract that allowed males who identified as female to complete in the Miss America pageant.

There was a national outcry against this, and as a result the Miss America organization had to change their contract that only biological females can compete.

Kayleigh was our special guest at She Leads Kentucky along with
Actress Leigh Allyn Baker, vice president JD Vance's mom Beverly, and other incredible She Leads America honorees.

Thank you, Kayleigh for Bodie standing for biblical values and common sense!

Syd and I traveled to The Kentucky Castle in Lexington for the launch of She Leads Kentucky—a truly meaningful and memorable time.
What made it especially sacred for me was the opportunity to remember and honor my mom during my speech.

She was affectionately known as “Queen Ann” among our She Leads America sisters and there we found ourselves… in a beautiful castle.

Mom always said her life was “Jesus and horses.” In what felt like a tender kiss from heaven, we were surrounded by the rolling horse farms of Kentucky—statues of horses, and real horses running freely through the fields.

Afterward, a woman came up to me and said something I will never forget:
“Isn’t it wonderful how the Lord has given you a glimpse of where your mom is in heaven today?”
And truly, it felt that way.

I am deeply honored and humbled to have received this beautiful citation from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Thank you to the dedicated She Leads Kentucky Director, Marti Thurman, and the incredible Senator Lindsay Tichenor for this honor and for honoring accomplished Christian women in Kentucky.

“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
