My welcome address to open Day 1 of the Capital Market Summit 2024 @dubaifinancialmarket. As an ex-banker, investor, and founder, it was a pleasure to moderate the summit for over 1000 delegates. The summit focused on topics relating to financial markets, capital raising, and IPOs. We launched two new platforms to the market during the summit - Ivestor and Arena. Stay tuned - we will discuss them in more detail.

Congrats on the entire team for an excellent job! by @shereenmitwalli

What started as a podcast with the incredible @nervesurgeon, Dr. Mohammed Tahir, transformed into a powerful community event with over 300 attendees in Dubai.

Dr. Tahir, an Iraqi-British Orthopaedic Neurosurgeon, shared his firsthand experiences from Gaza with @fajrscientificus, where he treated victims during three missions over seven months. His stories, insights, and heartfelt message about what he hopes we all take away from his time in Gaza left a lasting impact on everyone in the room.

This conversation is more than just words—it’s a call to empathy, action, and awareness. Watch, listen, and share his story. Full video of the interview to be released.

Thank you to my team at @onstageinternational, @warehousefour @alsayedcomedy @minaliccione for all the support. by @shereenmitwalli

Honoured to be invited to join such high-level discussions today in Abu Dhabi, ahead of ADIPEC 2026, which officially begins tomorrow!

Today at ENACT 2026, Energy in Action, a closed-door Majlis brought together some of the world’s leading minds in energy, technology, finance and government to address one of the most important challenges of our time.

How do we meet the world’s growing energy demands while ensuring our energy systems remain secure, resilient and ready for the future?

From energy security to AI, infrastructure and investment, these are conversations that will shape the future of our economies and everyday lives.

A privilege to be part of such an important gathering, where the focus is on turning dialogue into meaningful action.

Looking forward to ADIPEC 2026, taking place 2–5 November at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi!

An incredible three days with HSBC, moderating their Future Forum followed by the Wealth Summit.

What a privilege to be in rooms with some of the brightest minds, from government ministers and global CEOs to leading economists, investors and technology experts, discussing the forces shaping our future.

From government priorities and the shifting global and regional economic landscape to capital markets, investment, innovation and the future of wealth, the conversations were as thought-provoking as they were insightful.

But beyond understanding what’s coming next, the bigger question was how do we position ourselves to stay ahead? How do we diversify, think bigger, identify opportunities and lead change rather than simply respond to it?

Three days of extraordinary insights, powerful perspectives and conversations that remind me why I love what I do.

The future isn’t just something we prepare for. It’s something we help shape.

Thank you to the incredible HSBC team for the trust and the opportunity to be part of it all. ❤️. @hsbc @hsbc_uae by @shereenmitwalli

The magic is in the moments you don’t plan.

@shereenmitwalli on a day at the farm, making something from scratch, surrounded by the people who make an ordinary day feel anything but.

We love being part of these moments; big or small, planned or spontaneous.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but I needed this reminder too. You’ll never be this age again. Take the trip. Wear the outfit. Change your hair. Start over. Say yes. Say no. Do the thing you keep talking yourself out of.

Your life doesn’t need to make sense to anybody else. It just needs to make sense to you. Live fully, loudly, messily, happily and with absolutely no regrets.

So live a lot. 🤍 by @shereenmitwalli

In this episode of Leaders on the Move, Rola Abu Manneh, Chief Executive Officer, UAE, Middle East and Pakistan at Standard Chartered, reflects on the connections between markets, capital and opportunity, and the role DIFC and Dubai play in enabling greater connectivity across regions. by @shereenmitwalli

A little glimpse of our summer exploring more of Northern Italy 🇮🇹

This year, we ticked off one of my bucket-list experiences with a visit to Parma, where we toured a Parmesan cheese factory producing authentic Parmigiano Reggiano using the traditional recipe and methods that have been passed down for generations.

We learnt the history behind how Parmesan came to be, watched the entire process from start to finish, and saw just how much time, skill and tradition goes into producing every wheel. It was honestly mind-blowing and deserves a whole video of its own!

If you’re planning a trip to Northern Italy and want our exact itinerary, favourite stops and recommendations, comment ITALY and I’ll DM you everything. 🤍 by @shereenmitwalli
