There are so many moments where I wonder to myself, “What am I doing? Where is this going? Maybe I should I just quit and do something easier, something safer.” The imposter syndrome is a real thing. And sometimes, despite how hard I’m working, it feels like my efforts aren’t really seen.

Social media definitely has its way of making things appear so easy, so instant. The finished pieces, the beautiful photos, the launches, the orders, and all these fun & pretty moments. And don’t get me wrong, those are real too. But what you don’t see are the early mornings, the late nights, the 13 hour days that come with a lot of mistakes, frustration, learning, having to start over because I refuse to sell something I can’t be proud of. So many moments where I’m doubting myself and if I’m actually capable of doing this.

I don’t know everything. I’m still learning, every single day. I’m figuring things out as I go, because sometimes you need to go through it to get through it. I’m constantly trying to become better at what I do. Because that’s who I am, and who I want to be. It may not be perfect, but when I’m given something to do, I give it my all. Even if it means ripping the seams or starting completely over again on a piece I already finished. I care about what I create. I care about the people I create it for. And I care about building something meaningful for myself and my family.

I’m also doing my best to still be a good and present mom, partner, family member, friend, and full-time student. Sometimes, I feel so spread thin that it hurts. This is the busiest season for me, but at the same time, this is what I want, and it won’t always be like this.

At the end of the day, I’m just doing my best. And my best may look different from day to day, but I can honestly say that I give my absolute best to the things I care about. If you read all of this, thank you, I appreciate you♥️
