Hey guysss 👋🏾 PSA 📢! I’ve sent this to the majority of you all who have liked or interacted with my music / my content over the years & again, I cannot thank you guys enough for being genuine supporters 🙏🏾❤️💯

I will be transitioning away from Instagram / social media in general due to the fact that my content has been heavily suppressed and shadowbanned across all platforms over the course of the past few years. While I will not be completely abandoning these platforms, I will not be updating them as regularly. This year I am dedicated to focusing on my true supporters / those who enjoy my music & appreciate my artistry & separating those people from the monitoring spirits & evil eyes on these platforms 😬🧿🪬

If you would like to stay updated on new releases, music videos, events and more, Click the link in my bio & sign up to join my Fanclub list. I have a lot ahead for y’all in 2025 😏🎤💕 Exclusive content loading… 🤪😘🎶

I see this little trend going around about Netflix Documentaries… I figured I’d enter the chat 👀🤷🏾‍♀️ The difference is… I really do have a story to tell 😬…

Part 1 of my Trdrama Class Documentary is a raw look at the beginning of my life / childhood & how it shaped me into the person & artist I am today. The survival. The silence. The music that came out of it all 🎶

If you’ve ever wondered where the music comes from… If you’ve ever met me in person & wondered - “Sherri, why are you so ‘quiet’?” …now you’ll know the real 💯

Today is my sister’s birthday 🥺 She passed in 2018, and since then, this day has held a quiet kind of hurt… a reminder of the last person in my physical world who truly loved me unconditionally. But healing isn’t always soft. Sometimes it’s sweat, sound & movement. Sometimes it’s reclaiming a day marked by loss & choosing to fill it with creation.

Workout is a song about desire, release, and loving openly 🌈💕 Today, I’m releasing the visual in her honor because she taught me that even in pain, we can choose to move, to breathe, to feel alive ❤️‍🩹 Watch the full music video for Workout 🔗 in bio 🙏🏾

Being an independent artist means being up past 4AM recording a verse on your new favorite song from the @kehlani album 🎙️🎶💪🏾

Recap of my morning 😊 You can tell I’m happy because they got an authentic smile out of me! 😂 You know how you can just feel when someone radiates genuine love & great energy? That’s how meeting Brat & Judy felt 🥺❤️ It was a lot going on so I didn’t get to say all I would have wanted to say:

@darealbbjudy - I use Kaleidoscope EVERYTHING in my hair, I need y’all to make a wig glue please 🥺 @kaleidoscopehairproducts I’ll make the most ridiculous R&B song for the promo 😂🙌🏾 Just think about it 👀🙏🏾

@sosobrat - That was me who asked about your album in the virtual Q&A & your answer broke my heart a little bit 🥺💔 As an indie artist fighting the system to be seen / heard in general, I know all too well the fear & reality of putting your soul into your music just for it not to be received in the way you know it should… but holding on to that music does nothing but let the system that wants to silence us win 😔🤷🏾‍♀️ Please drop something.. 🎶

Those of us who love / appreciate you & need that real authentic music still exist! We’re drowning in 90s/early 2000s playlists because artists like you stop putting it out 😭 And if that isn’t enough.. as an indie artist who has always looked up to you.. please give me a reason to keep making music that matters.. because if you’ve given up.. I feel like I don’t have a good reason to even keep trying.. 😔 Think about it…. ❤️ (& thank you for telling me that my style is fly 😁 means a lot coming from Da 🐐🫡💯)

Thank you guys for always being so open, vulnerable, sharing your lives with the world & for showing me what’s possible as a black lesbian woman myself no matter how much the world wants us to go away. I love y’all 🙏🏾💕 Now lemme go read this 📖😌🍷 @mahoganybooks
