This is the day everyone remembers.

The flowers.
The dress.
The way he looked at her when she walked down the aisle.

It’s emotional. Beautiful. Electric.

But here’s what I know after 20+ years of photographing weddings…

The wedding day is only Chapter One.

The real magic is what happens after.

(Stay with me.)

Instagram holds attention for 3 seconds.

An album holds attention for 30 years.

This is where the wedding becomes permanent.

Printed.
Designed.
Intentional.

Not 800 files in a cloud.
Not a highlight reel that disappears in 24 hours.

A book you can sit with.
A book you can hand to someone.
A book that lives on your coffee table.

I don’t photograph weddings just for the day.
I design them for the decades after.

One day someone small will sit in your living room and turn these pages.

They’ll ask questions.

“Why are you crying?”
“Why does Dad look nervous?”
“Was that Grandpa?”

They won’t just see a wedding.

They’ll see the beginning of their own story.

This is why I believe in albums.

Because someday your children won’t scroll your wedding —
they’ll hold it.

I’m currently booking a limited number of weddings for this season and 2026.

If legacy matters to you —
let’s create something your future family can open together.

I’m obsessed with Laura and Andrew’s Reed. I loved that they wished for him and now he’s a fun and smart boy who is so curious about the world. And I love that he sees his parents wedding album in the living room everyday. 💛

This is a let them eat cake show stopper.
I love the wedding industry. So much artistry and creativity that is genuinely the most fun creative field to play in. Thank you each and every one of you for your brilliance and laughter.

A study in theatrical extravagance, this celebration imagines Marie Antoinette hosting dinner aboard the Titanic – with as many cakes as one head table can hold. “Imagine if Lady Gaga and Stevie Nicks were your wedding planners,” said Amanda Thorne, owner of Thorne Artistry, capturing the shoot’s unconventional spirit.
The Historic Abbey on Fifth Avenue’s Classical Revival architecture sets the stage for an equally daring design. Crimson linens, gilded details, dramatic florals, candlelight, and ornate cakes transform the storied San Diego venue.

Orchard, in the wild. 🍓🍊
A cup of coffee + some wild dreams, and six months later—voilà.
It became Plastic Orchard at SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York.
Riley Arthur and I made a room about fruit, girlhood, whimsy, nostalgia, the environment, and the strange relationship between things that grow old and things that never do.
The flowers wilt.
The fruit decays.
The girls grow up.
The plastic stays exactly the same.
One of my favorite parts was watching people walk into the room and immediately smile. They pointed. They nudged each other. They told us which Strawberry Shortcake character they had. They remembered bedrooms, toys, smells, colors, childhood friends.
Then they stayed and looked longer.
That part mattered to me. The work can be sweet and funny and ridiculous—and still hold something underneath it.
Thank you Rachael Moore and Cincinnati Art Underground for bringing this project to SPRING/BREAK, and to Riley Arthur for building this wonderfully strange orchard with me.
And thank you to SPRING/BREAK everyone who came through, talked with us, looked closely, bought work, told us stories, or simply stood in the middle of our fake grass smiling.
I’m still figuring out exactly what this project is becoming.
Which is probably the best part.

Heave wave side quests. Pool portraits are a good time.

I’ve been fascinated by the way water refuses to stay still. It’s never just blue. It’s light folding over itself, patterns appearing and disappearing every second, abstract paintings projected onto skin.

I took every chance to see what was going on in the museum world in the city. Wahoo
