Small photo dump with a mix of old and recent pics i never posted ranging from April to this month to mark the start of me being 23 now. I can't believe I'm pushing 30 already, but time flies. 9 months ago I went through something that was definitely very painful for me, and many other parties involved. Since then I started working out more, tho whether or not it can be said that powerlifting has made me healthy can be debated, its definitely made a lot stronger, both physically and mentally. Alongside lifting I picked up a style of clothing I enjoy wearing and have grown a fondness of silver jewelry I did not use to have lmao. Its at this point now I've been living to that I have begun to understand that I might have been lying to everyone including myself this whole time. Growing up I'd believe that the way I'd behave, the way I'd act, and the opinions I had were mine and mine alone, that I didn't care about the opinions of others, but its now at this point I realize how wrong I actually was. I think as people when we grow up we always hear so much about being in relationships, from older people in our families. Always asking us "where's your boyfriend/girlfriend" "do you have a "girlfriend/boyfriend yet" "why not?" There's always such an insane importance that gets emphasized on being in a relationship as we grow up, and I think without realizing it, instead of growing up becoming who I was supposed to be, I instead grew up into being someone I thought I had to be to be in a relationship, all the while telling myself, I was being "me". Then comes along a relationship that goes on for almost 5 years, and I almost got married in to cement the idea that I was the "me" I was meant to be. The reality however tho was that I was sacrificing so much of who I was and the standards I held for myself just to be in a relationship. I'd ignore the mental abuse, the constant shit talking, and I'd continue holding this person on a pedestal because I believed that the "me" I was supposed to be, the one who would marry that person one day, was supposed to be this way. That my patience was not only a symbol of my strength, but proof of my love. (Continued in the comments) by @shinka.saisei

XLOV in Tokyo was amazing. I'm genuinely depressed it was only 8 hrs (ignore my shit fan chanting this is literally the first time I've ever had to do it lmao) by @shinka.saisei

Only gonna post the deadlift part of the comp today since it was the only one I really went the highest in, getting 3rd heaviest overall. I stupidly chose to play it safe and stick to my PR's tho and over all ended up in 5th place out of 9. If I got crazier and more ambitious I think I at least could've gotten 4th maybe but is what it is. Thats what I get for being careful.😭😮‍💨 by @shinka.saisei
