Hey, I’m Isla, the face behind Shire Socials. 🌱🌿

Over the last few months, I’ve developed an even greater appreciation for Aberdeenshire. The people, the businesses, and everything that makes this place feel like home. It’s made me want to give back to the area that’s supported me, and that’s where Shire Socials comes in.

I’ve spent years posting on social media, experimenting, and learning along the way. Through working with various brands and businesses, I’ve gained so much experience and understanding of what works online. Now I want to use that knowledge to help small local businesses in the Shire, especially those who might not be sure where to start.

If you’re a local business looking to grow your presence online, I’m here to help you share your story, connect with your community, and create content that truly represents you and your business. Let’s work together to make your socials grow! by @shire.socials

EST. 2025 🌱🍃 by @shire.socials

The image right now all Makeup Artists dread (because it’s not a real person, it’s entirely AI generated).

But heres my version of how it looks on a real person - unedited, unfiltered & to give an idea of how this style of makeup translates in real life!

And honestly, I prefer the real version! 😉

Remember - AI is never fully achievable & should only ever be used as colour reference or idea on the amount of make up desired. (The best inspo is always on your artists page!)

Real people have real skin, pores, texture & lines. It’s completely normal.

BTS of the @cairnwellcandleco Christmas Cande Workshop back in early December 🕯️🎄🌱

One of my favourite content days so far especially as I got to take part and make my own candle too - perks of the job!

I’ve saved you all the headache and changed the audio from a Christmas song, as I’m sure by now we’re all Christmas-ed out 😅
