The shoebox drive is in full swing! Grab your family and friends. It’s so much fun. How many shoeboxes will you get done? For packing ideas visit www.shoeboxdrive.com by @shoeboxdrive
“Shoebox season has officially begun! Our office has already been busy the past few months ‌ getting our pre-packed shoeboxes prepared. It has only been possible with the amazing help of volunteers. They are a true testament that together, we can do more. While not everyone can join us in our Orlando office to volunteer, you can still serve right where you are. We want to encourage you to make shoebox packing more than an individual project this year. You can host a packing party with your neighbors, Bible study group, homeschool co-op, classroom, youth group, etc. Buying supplies in bulk and/or organizing a shopping trip with family and friends is a great starting point. What an impactful way to teach children and teens about generosity and serving ‌God’s Kingdom. If packing physical boxes is a challenge, you can encourage your group to see how many boxes you can preorder together. Get creative and have fun! Challenge yourself to see how you can include fellowship and community with this year’s shoebox season. We can do more by working together. However you choose to serve the children of New Missions during the Shoebox Drive, may you keep Jesus and His love at the center. “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19” ~Ainsley Moree by @shoeboxdrive

Here we are! It’s October 1 and we are now officially in the Shoebox Drive season at New Missions. These are exciting days as we see shoebox gifts arriving at our office. Volunteer teams are helping to process and pack them in cases to be loaded on cargo containers for shipping overseas. As a reminder, our collection runs through December 31, so there is plenty of time to be involved and invite others! Here is a fun fact: over the past 19 years, we have collected 243,553 shoebox gifts. By the way, if your church wants a total of how many shoeboxes you collected, please count them prior to shipping them to our office. Thank you for helping to serve families. ~Ainsley Moree Campaign Manager www.ShoeboxDrive.com by @shoeboxdrive
It’s only three days until Shoebox Drive officially launches! Because of you, families receive shoebox gifts with essential items to bless their homes and support the children as they go to school. Each box filled with your love makes a difference. From water bottles to school supplies and fun toys, each box brings much joy. Be encouraged by this special thank you from Blominda at our Signeau Elementary School in Haiti. “When asked what the students enjoy most about the contents inside their shoebox, Pastor Mario Bijou said, “In my opinion, what made the children happy when they received the gifts in their box wasn’t just the items inside...but above all...the love, attention. and joy they felt. These gifts made them understand that they are important, loved, and that there are people who think of them. The smiles on their faces expressed a feeling of happiness, surprise, and gratitude.” Pastor Mario stood next to the well at our elementary school in Signeau, Haiti, and handed shoebox gifts to the students. Once, he was a student at New Missions. Today, he is the pastor of our Signeau church and school director at our Signeau Elementary School. Inside the classroom, students can be heard talking to each other about what gifts they are finding. Reaching inside the shoebox to find a bar of soap, a doll, or a water bottle is such a blessing to a student. Save the dates: October 1 through December 31 for our upcoming shoebox drive.” ~Tim DeTellis by @shoeboxdrive
Thank you to Woodridge Baptist Church students for kicking off our 2026 Shoebox Drive by helping prep supplies for our pre-packed shoeboxes! They served above and beyond to help make a tangible and eternal impact, and were such a good example of 1 Peter 4:10-11. They helped prep over 2,000 water bottles and pencil pouches, 500 cosmetic bags, 500 soccer balls, 768 coloring books, 260 children’s books, and over 2000 drawstring bags! #newmissions #shoeboxdrive by @shoeboxdrive
