We wear many hats - London

Not again I hear you say, not more hats, photographers love hats, 😁 why?

I think it’s because it reminds us of an era long gone where the social expectation and norm was to dress smartly to represent one’s standing in society. So now that times have moved on they are out of the ordinary and have an interest factor.

Well to mix it up a bit I have tried to offer some more interesting scenarios and layers.

Let me know why you think we photograph so many hats in the comments

London Transport

What’s your favourite way to get around the city? Granted, you can’t take a plane between Greenwich and Westminster 😉

2000 years of history

I enjoyed a recent visit of Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom where I had the pleasure of visiting a number of local historic sites including the Roman Baths that are nearly 2000 years old. The baths are still fed to this day by a natural hot spring.

Did you know that this was also the home of Jane Austin for a short while, and also another famous author Mary Shelley, who wrote Frankenstein.

I hope you enjoy this small 10 image set of my very brief trip

A little night selection for your Wednesday evening. You may notice one or two from my recent photobook (link in bio) but the rest were ones that didn’t make the cut.

Mobile Moments #- Tutorial

I often find that I am without my actual camera when a photographic opportunity presents itself. However, with modern technology at our fingertips most of us would have a phone, and if you are so inclined, you may also have @lightroom mobile installed on your device.

I am going to be dropping these Mobile Moment tutorials throughout the year as and when I come across good images when I’m out and about.

This entire edit took 8-10 minutes and you end up with and instagram ready image.
