After 35 incredible years of Centrestage Performing Arts School, we’re stepping into an exciting new chapter.

From October 1st, we’ll be proudly known as Showfit Studios, and Centrestage Agency will continue its journey as Ian White Management Next Gen.

Our new name brings everything we do under one banner — training, mentorship, and representation — while our mission remains the same: to nurture and champion the next generation of performers.

This rebrand is about growth, unity and creating fresh opportunities for our students and families. We’re thrilled for what’s ahead and deeply grateful for the support of our community. by @showfitstudios

MEET THE TEAM ✨💚

Leanne White - Director Of School

“For over 30 years at Centrestage, we have nurtured the talents, dreams and ambitions of thousands of young people from right across Australia and abroad.

We believe that by creating a safe, integrative and encouraging environment we are able to strengthen the necessary skills required to perform at the highest level and develop with a deeper sense of play and creativity.”

Leanne danced professionally for over 23 years in shows such as Evita, Oklahoma, Song and Dance (where she was nominated for an “Adam Award”), Cats (as the original Dance Captain), Possum Magic and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Dance Captain and lead dancer).

Her extensive TV work includes; The AFI Awards, The Don Lane Show, The Mike Walsh Show and several variety specials. From 1993 to 1995 Leanne was Resident Director of Cats throughout Asia and Australia and Resident Choreographer on Sunset Boulevard at the Regent Theatre.

In 1998 she was Associate Choreographer with Anthony Van Laast for The Boy From Oz and continued to maintain the choreography throughout its Australian run. In 1999 she was flown to London by Paul Dainty to meet with Arlene Phillips, the director of Saturday Night Fever, to consult on casting the show in Australia. She was also Associate Choreographer on Happy Days the Arena Mega Musical, original casting consultant on Mamma Mia, Choreographer for the Production Company’s, Mack and Mabel and choreographed Putting It Together at Chapel Off Chapel.

Most recently, Leanne was invited by Anthony Van Laast to stage the cast of Tina Turner the Musical at their NRL grand Final opening performance, and choreographed our Centrestage Quarter Final performance at the 2024 Australian Open!

🎬❤️ WE CAN FINALLY SHARE THE NEWS! ❤️🎬

After months of keeping this exciting news a secret, we’re so happy to finally announce that Ethan has spent the past five months filming Little Lunch: New Class as part of the core ensemble!

Ethan completed 20 weeks of filming, working 40 hours a week, five days a week, while continuing his dancing and keeping up with his education through on-set tutoring.

Although Ethan has been fortunate enough to work on television productions before, this experience was something particularly special. Being part of a core ensemble over such an extended period gave him the opportunity to really immerse himself in the production, develop his craft and work closely with an incredibly talented cast and crew.

One of the highlights was undoubtedly the friendships he formed. Spending five months together, sharing long filming days, plenty of laughter and countless memories created a wonderful bond between the children. It was so lovely watching those friendships grow and seeing how much they all enjoyed being part of something together.

We’re incredibly proud of Ethan’s dedication, maturity and professionalism throughout the entire production. Balancing a full-time filming schedule with his education, dancing and other commitments was a big undertaking, but he embraced it wholeheartedly and loved every minute.

A huge thank you to the wonderful cast, crew, production team and on-set tutors who made this such a positive and memorable experience. Ethan has taken so much away from these five months, both professionally and personally, and we’re incredibly grateful he had this opportunity.

We can’t wait to see Ethan and the rest of the New Class on screen in 2027! ❤️

P.S. We can’t reveal Ethan’s character name just yet, but we’ll share it as soon as we can! 🤫
