Japan Fest Day 2 (Part III)
260426

I don’t normally love posing for photos but I was just super proud of this set up! 🥹🙌❤️
I only started going out to events and had my first table last Spring. Here I am filling the walls and just never thought I would take it this far as I did it.

As a hobbyist, I want to remember to make sure I do art only when I am ready and happy. When I get to share it with you all, I appreciate all the little moments in this parallel universe 🪐🌌 (I still love my job lol)

Big thanks to the amazing @japanfestivalboston again. Hope to see you next time! by @shr.sherrae

Exploring new productions! 🖼️ ⛩️

I had many people come up asking about this framed gouache painting I took at events if I am selling prints for it.
The thought never crossed my mind, but hey might be a good timing for me to finally explore Giclee printing!

In the first two image, the left frame is the original and the right is the reproduction. This framed print is the Cold Pressed paper option which I think matches the original the most — by texture and colors. The third image features other prints I tested.

I’m so happy how it looks and so excited to do more! Though I still don’t know when and how I’m launching this 😂
Stay tuned! by @shr.sherrae

I drew and painted this back in July, actually.

Always love the vibes with the team and every lovely soul supporting us!
Thank you so much for swinging by and loved our conversations today :)
This might be my last event for the season (will see if I’ll get to do another Open Newbury). It’s been a blast and couldn’t have thanked more of all the appreciation 🤍

First time seeing myself drawing portraits 😂
I’m still very nervous every time drawing with 👀 on me. Focus is everything!

Thank you my friend Alex @sweet_sputnik who filmed the time lapse. Also credits to fruit tea from Yifang and a nice dinner at Padthai Cafe every Open Newbury sesh 👌💖 by @shr.sherrae

Open Newbury 260802 (Part II)

An amazing thing about Open Newbury is there have been multiple instances that I get to meet the same people I’ve drawn before, and to do this again every time we find each other 🥹😭💖

Knowing how meaningful they can be, I genuinely am grateful and it keeps me going and reminds me to draw my best for every single person.
Thank you for appreciating my art — I always get to meet all the most beautiful people here.
See you next week 🫶
