POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We all need a friend who says “you can do this” when we’re not so sure ourselves. And Cath is that person for so many women in Whistler!!

On top of her full-time job, she coaches mountain biking and brings together a community of badass women through ShredHers Co. She organizes jump jams, bike rides, and promotes any other Women events in the Sea to Sky. Come ride, try something new, progress at your own pace, and have people cheering you on while you do it. How good is that?!

Mountain biking can be intimidating, especially in Whistler where it feels like EVERYONE shreds. It’s easy to think you need to get better before joining a group ride, but getting out with people who make you feel comfortable is often how you get there in the first place!!

Sometimes you just need someone beside you saying “you’ve got thissss” and suddenly you’re trying something you would’ve talked yourself out of five minutes ago. And when you do it?! That confidence comes home with you.

I just love that Cath makes time for this. We all have jobs, commitments, a million things going on, and she’s still putting energy into helping other women get out and enjoy something she loves.

More of this please!! More riding for the fun of it, more cheering each other on, more people making it easier for someone else to show up. 🌞 That’s a #suniimoment by @suniienergygum
